Meet Law Student Reporter Melanie Rodriguez
Melanie Rodriguez is a 3L at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California. She currently serves as the President of the Entertainment Law Society and the Music Law Society.
This past summer, Melanie worked for MusicSale Corp where she analyzed various agreements for songwriters and publishers as well as handled copyright matters. During this past fall semester, she worked at the Fried Firm as a legal extern where she assisted in drafting agreements for songwriters, bands, and music producers.
Melanie also has a Master of Arts from Texas State University and Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Edward’s University.
Outside of law school, Melanie enjoys traveling, live music, concerts, music festivals
