♧ Any part of their canon portrayal you dislike?I need to re-read the books to answer this better. I don’t think he fought hard enough for Katniss, but I understand why he didn’t. I don’t like the fact that he and Katniss didn’t end up together because I think that would’ve been best for her, but like I said, I know why he did what he did. That’s probs also an unpopular opinon ahahah.

✎ What do you wish the author would reveal/had revealed about your muse?Oh my god, everything? literally everything. I could read 200 novels about Gale. You guys don’t understand how much I love him. But more specifically what he was doing during the games and I need 9000% more info on District 2. I really just need all the info.

I’ve told a couple people, but haven’t shared it publicly so that counts right? Sure! The longest Gale’s gone without eating anything of real substance is  two weeks straight,  making sure that his brothers and mom and sister ate, and of course Katniss, Mrs. Everdeen, and Prim.

She didn’t think that Johanna would understand if she told her the TRUTH. All Katniss was trying to do is  p r o t e c t  her, though the girl would, of course, say that she could easily take care of herself. Even with that knowledge the archer continued to lie through her teeth. Instead of coming clean it seemed like the idea of holding up this FACADE was a better plan. If there was anything she’d learned during her time as a victor it was surely how to fake it. Her back straightened and her lungs inhaled as she started to respond to the girl with the sharp tongue who stood before her.

Again she lied for someone else that didn’t even know how much she really cared.

         It was happening again, it definitely seemed as if it was. He had become more observant in his friend, the way she was distant towards him and always seemed to be or end up back in the hospital ward. It was not until Annie had mentioned to him one day that the individual who knew him best for all his FLAWS and TROUBLES did not end up having the time of her life locked up in the Capitol. 

               “ Johanna! ”

         Finnick was thankful that he caught her this time in one of her SPELLS and no one else, rushing towards her nearly sliding on his knees as he wish to quickly get her through this, though her voice echoed and the unknown faces of District Thirteen withdrew, though he was sure someone was going to point out the disturbance of their boring daily routine. His hands grabbed her wrists, making sure she could not simply flail around but hold her steady as he tries to break the curse her mind put her under.

               “ Jo, no--I’m here with you.                      They’ll be fine because there                      is no water. Jo, there is no water.                      We’re safe. Close your eyes and                      it will go away, TRUST ME, Johanna. ” 

         His only idea at the moment was to coax her out of believing she was drowning. She had to believe his words, even if it did look as if everyone was drowning, his steady voice could surely bring her out of the flood? She only needed to TRUST him in this moment, that him uttering such words could bring her back to peace. He has dealt with these similar situations before, figured out how to handle them. Words were his strong suit, he knew this about himself so they better work this time as well.
