Us women have such a variety (and quantity) of makeup and skincare products in our midst already, not to mention the infamous wish lists we so desperately want – but there are also a number of beauty essentials we do need to keep a constant stock of.
Here is a quick and simple list of some of these essential items you need to stock in your drawer and where to find them:
Cotton Pads
Useful for just about everything. Removing makeup, cleansing, toning or just a quick wipe of a cleaning / micellar water. I personally use them when tinting my eyebrows and eyelashes too. And also wrap one around my finger while I removing stray hairs with a tweezers. The list is endless…..

Again these are multifunctional little babies. Not only for their designed purpose (cleaning your ears), they are great for cleaning up any mascara or eyeliner mishaps.

Tweezers
No matter what way you like to groom your brows, a tweezers is always in need for those one or two stray hairs. Tweezers are great at helping you apply your lashes.

Disposable Mascara Brushes
Always handy to have a supply of these. Not only for a makeup artists with regard to hygiene but even just for yourself. They are great for grooming your brows and giving them a simple brush through will help tame those babies.

Makeup Wedges / Sponges
Again, handy to have from a hygiene point of view. A lot of people actually like to apply their foundation with makeup wedges for an airbrush flawless finish. They are handy as well if you need to colour correct your skin beforehand and you don’t have that many brushes. Who wants green or purple on their foundation brush..? :)

Ok ok, I know we are not supposed to use baby wipes on our face but lets face it – we all do it!!! A quick wipe to remove makeup or clean up fallout from eyeshadow every once and a while will do us no harm.

Cleansing Water / Makeup Remover
The correct way to remove our makeup. There is such a variety on the market for you to choose from. Personally I opt for either a makeup remover gel or micellar water.
