I just want to reiterate (because it can never be said enough) that you’re literally a vile person if you spread hate or actively hate on Iris and Hannah just because they’re Eddie’s family. Hating Hannah and calling her “a skinny b*tch*/“uptight”/“ugly” is disgusting and it just shows jealousy. Saying “I wish Iris hadn’t been born”/“I hate Iris”/“I hate the fact Eddie has a baby he should be with me” is disgusting and vile. Hannah makes Eddie happy, Iris makes them happy, Eddie is super happy.

Please, if you’re a fan of Eddie, don’t say cruel things about Hannah and Iris.

I’m just going to come out and say it – I feel far sorrier for Hannah and Iris than Eddie in all of this stalker business.

Don’t get me wrong, Eddie does NOT deserve to be stalked at all, and this stalker lady is disgusting for what she’s done because he deserves his privacy. Unfortunately, stalkers do seem to come with the job in acting – even smaller names have stalkers (I was new in the LOTR fandom when Dominic Monaghan, aka Merry, had to file a lawsuit against a fan who was stalking him – but that’s another post/topic altogether). Do actors/famous people deserve to be stalked? Absolutely not, it’s disgusting and terrifying.

But Hannah is not an actress or really famous (except for being Eddie’s wife – she’s more than Eddie’s wife, she works in PR I believe, but that’s what people know her as to be honest). How was she to know when they first met that he’d become this well-known and famous? Remember, they’ve known each other since they went to school; I’m sure neither of them fathomed it getting quite this out-of-hand. She didn’t ask for any of this when she married him, she married him because they were in love (which is the right reason, of course). It’s so unfair on her that she has to stress over a) Eddie’s safety (because that stalker was nasty), b) her own safety and c) their daughter’s safety. And you know what, yes, she did look unhealthily thin in that article – which is highly worrying. It’s not a criticism, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s down to stress and the like – which is unfair.

Iris is a FREAKING BABY. She didn’t ask for any of this when she was born; you don’t choose who your parents are, or what jobs your parents have. It’s disgusting that this stalker would follow Eddie and Hannah about whilst they were out with Iris – do you know how worrying that would be for them as parents? If you’re a parent, your child’s safety is of the utmost importance (I’m not even a parent, but I know that if I was then it would be without a doubt) – of course her parents want to protect her. It’s no wonder they’re so private.

I have a lot of issues with the expectations of certain fans – and this goes for all fandoms. People think that if they approach an actor/actress at an airport or while said actor/actress is out with family/friends, then they should receive pictures/autographs. The thing is, they don’t owe fans anything – if you think that you deserve to have a picture or autograph when you approach someone in their private time, then you need to rethink. Some actors are more easy-going about it than others and will do it, if only to avoid hassle – I would, just to be left alone. But say an actor signs an autograph/takes a picture with someone – people might then think it’s okay to approach said actor at any time, whether it’s with family or when they’re at the airport.

But I asked politely. But I really wanted an autograph. But they should know that it’s part of the job.

If you want an autograph/picture, a lot of actors will have Comic-Cons or other events where they’ll do it. But I have to pay, that’s not fair. Well, actually, it kind of is because if you’re signing autographs for hours every day and having to put on a happy face in front of fans while they stream in for photos, it’s exhausting. And some actors will even do it for free if it's backstage at a show or if you've sent a fan letter. Acting is their job, just as plumbing or computer-work is someone else’s job – I want to be an actor, not because I want to be famous or have fans, but because I love what I do when I’m acting. The same goes for many other actors, I’m sure (some are in it just for fame, but still).

I’m really disgusted by that stalker, to be frank; I’ve been fanatical about actors in the past when I was a younger teen – as teens do – and even now I can get a bit too obsessive…but I would NEVER stalk another person just because they appear in movies. I would never follow an actor about while he’s out with his wife and child, I would never watch someone dressing/undressing (which this stalker did, might I just add). Just put yourself in Eddie or Hannah’s shoes and imagine how they must be feeling; terrified, not only for themselves but for their child too.

Another thing to bear in mind: Eddie is a nice guy. He’s literally been called one of the nicest guys in Hollywood. And yet, he’s reported to have said, “I always try to be open and friendly as support (from fans) is what gives me a career. I deeply regret having met {STALKER’S NAME}* – she harassed myself and my family intermittently over five years, leaving us distressed, unsafe and deeply unsettled.”

If that statement above – “I deeply regret meeting her” – doesn’t tell you how terrifying this ordeal has been for him and his family, then I don’t know what will.

*A/N: I have censored the name of the stalker in question because I frankly believe that she is unstable and mentally not well. It doesn’t make what she did acceptable at all, but there’s clearly something not right with her.

People are effing hating on his wife and daughter?! Jesus christ people, have some respect! If people actually cared about Eddie they'd accept and support his (wonderful) family and marriage choices, so like... can I call them fake fans now?

Oh my God, I know >:( Hannah and Iris do NOT deserve to be hated on at all. Like, if people are REAL fans of Eddie then they wouldn’t trash two people who make him happy; like, saying that you wish his daughter hadn’t been born?!? What the Hell?! It’s bad enough if Hannah gets hated on but a one-year-old baby??

I’m sorry, it just makes me so mad!
