Staycation at Bicol

I took a 4-day and 3-night vacation somewhere in Bicol (July 22-25, 2022) to relax and stayed at a certain place first before heading off to a resort. It was a long, exhausting trip going from my hometown to another different place in my home country so I had to stay overnight there first and then travel again. The worst part of it was having my phone keep losing the signal.

During my trip, I saw this wonderful view of the cloud and decided to take a photo of it…

July 23, 2022

The second day of my trip was rather exhausting as I had to travel from one place to another (Ligao to Irosin – where the hot spring resort is located). I stopped by at different places first before heading to the resort itself (mostly for taking different photos of the different places I pass by).

Come to think of it, there’s also Barcelona in my home country. I wasn’t able to explore much of it as I’m already too exhausted to come out of the vehicle to enter the church. The church is named St. Joseph Parish Church or also known as Barcelona Church.

Another place I visited is Eco Surf (Lolo Sayong). Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take a photo of that place but it’s a good one for someone who loves surfing

The last stop I passed by during this day before heading to the hot spring resort is a type of ecopark where the Bulusan falls is located. Due to tiredness and safety issues, I decided to not go down anymore to see the falls and had a coffee break instead at the cafe inside it.

The exhaustion from the trip was somehow replaced with a relaxing dip at the pool … I won’t lie, the place is nice, even the room. Room rates are kind of expensive if you’re having a trip as a group, but nevertheless, it’s worth the experience and you’ll be able to appreciate nature and the view.

Sadly, my stay at the resort was only good for overnight and had to travel back to where I stayed at before heading back to Manila.

July 25, 2022

Although the trip was kind of exhausting due to a lot of stopovers and bumpy roads and poor signals, I could say my short vacation was worthwhile.
