Really deeply entertaining when you talk to people who refuse to watch cartoons, because the likelihood is that they will have a single bizarre exception.
I assume because their lack of exposure to animated media has caused them to believe it is all childish, until they are exposed to the one (1) random media, which they will see that it is, in fact, not for 5 yr olds, and will decide that this specific show must be the exception to the rule, instead of challenging their preconceived notions about the animated format itself.
Anyway so my boyfriend’s parents who almost exclusively watch crime noirs are now really into beastars-
