currently giffing oliver stark and honestly, this is one of the funniest moments from the entire show imho just because it really looks like buck is used to just being able to overpower people easily, like he is used to being a Brick Shithouse and when he bumps into tommy and tommy simply Doesn't Move and he looks so confused for a hot second, it just really gives me the giggles

jesset city is a normal guy. he joined the revolution and rapidly became this rising star who ran for president and joined the council and was admired by many. and then he worked in the caves for years and he made new friends and allies. who then all got killed by scary minotaur creatures. and then a few weeks after that a woman who could blow up the sun and kill trillions said he had to give himself up to the evil government or she'd kill everybody. luckily that did not happen but when he got very inspired to go fight in his cool new mech because his friend saved his life he came within a literal coin flip of dying and broke all his bones. and then the next time he saw said friend he said "hey i've nearly died multiple times and i keep thinking about all the people in my life who have died and i'm really scared and i kind of want to give up the position i've earned and move in with you." and his friend responded to this by saying "you should eat some bread" and he was like "you're so right i need to eat some bread." normal guy
