Iman Shumpert has been cleared to make his season debut for the New York Knicks on Thursday against the Detroit Pistons in London.
According to Iman Shumpert, his recovery from a torn ACL in his left knee won’t be complete until sometime early in 2013. The second-year guard wants to ensure he is fully healthy before rejoining the Knicks.
The New York Knicks like guard Iman Shumpert and as expected, will keep him around for the near future. Knicks Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations and General Manager Glen Grunwald announced today that the team has exercised its third-year option on Shumpert.
