In season 5, Ren and Iskall shared a mooshroom island named ‘Renskall Island’. Their theme was ‘plastic fantastic’ to celebrate the release of concrete blocks.
In season 5, Iskall was in charge of making the nether hub; since concrete was new this year, he decided to build it out of black concrete. It took a painfully long time since he had to gather most of the materials himself (not to mention his base was also made of concrete) so it became a running joke that he would never finish it.
Story Time
During season 4 Iskall worked on a mega project called MOBA Lisa, which was going to be a complex game full of incredible redstone for the hermits to play. Ren was his main partner in the project, but Etho helped with some of the redstone. The game was never finished because Etho stopped playing partway through the season so Iskall couldn’t ask him for additional help, and it was abandoned at 95% completion as the season ended.
In season 5, Iskall was determined to complete the MOBA Lisa, and he and Ren quickly set to work creating MOBA Lisa 2.0, making sure the scale was much smaller and the game was less complex. Once again, the redstone was too complicated for a side project, and it was abandoned before completion again. By this point the MOBA Lisa was a running joke in Iskall’s fanbase.
In season 6, Iskall created the game Siege, insisting that it wasn’t a successor to MOBA Lisa (despite literally being moba lisa) and that he would actually finish it. He did in fact finish this much smaller game, though it took so long to plan a time for the hermits to get together and play that it went unplayed as the season ended.
Tango accidentally called Iskall Danish one time, and for the rest of the season pranked him, calling him sweet names such as his ‘great dane’ and ‘Swiss chocolate’
