Got this just sad response on my post about how women should not let men influence ideals of beauty: "Beauty is subjective, and beauty is not personal.
Beauty is a social concept.
If the rest of society thinks you are ugly, then you probably are.
I’m not trying to be mean or anything.
I just don’t understand what is the utility of being pretty for one self, because it probably has none.
If a woman is straight, she should take men’s advice on how to look better, if she is a lesbian then she should take women’s advice, if she is bi, both. I don’t see nothing wrong with that." If this doesn't scream anti feminist idk what does. I can't even. I don't even no where to start to say how sad this response is. Even in more basic terms this is just an alternative response of screaming: "if you're not loved and accepted by everyone or most people for your looks your just simply worthless." This guy's response and or whole blog is just plain, unapologetically sad. And extremely unhealthy thinking. Wow.
