Yeah, I was wondering what the +kkRrs would do, with today's little preview of content to come.

These days I've become quite weary of the absurdity of the infighting. I'm tired of seeing it on X, and honestly tired of seeing it here on Tumblr. Think about all that wasted energy that goes into it. I mean, does it really matter at the end of the day?

Totally agree with all of them. I deeply respect each of these women THO I 100000% prefer Anok’s statements over Vittoria’s and it would be better for all of us if Anok’s words would be shared more cause she put it together so well I didn’t sense any jealousy or hate in her essay. I feel like her words explain much better where we’re coming from. She seems so eloquent!

+ Vitto is totally unconvincing for me 😭 Vittoria gained a lot of new followers after she was hanging out with Kaia Gerber all the time for two seasons when Kaia was that new exciting nepo girl (she cut off her non-nepo models squad then), is married to DJ who is the son of one of the most wealthiest men in Italy and was arrested for faking the Covid taste in Costa Rica 😭 That’s why I can’t take her statement seriously. You guys have really started to gatekeep on who can complain about nepotism now? Is there anything you guys won’t gatekeep? Anon, Anok and POCs have to work 10x harder than even a non-nepo white model. But nepotism in reality affects everyone who wasn’t born with the connections and wealth.

Vittoria has her white privilege, but she didn’t have any nepotism to rely on and she had to work hard. Lily’s statements is insulting to everyone who had to grind to be where they are and they all have the right to speak up about it. It’s not like Vitto said, I suffered the most out of every person in the industry. Everyone who had to lose opportunities or had to work with (ungrateful and untalented) nepo kids who only got the job cause of their parents while you had to wait for hours and not always in the most comfortable situation, has the right to be jealous and angry. And untalented nepo models comparing their struggles to yours is damn fuck insulting and saying nothing about it means the cycle won’t ever called out. I also don’t know why you make it sound like her networking and using that connection to leverage her career is a bad thing? Like, every celeb are gonna fucking do it, black, white, brown, Asian, etc. Networking is part of career growth.

I am totally for giving more attention to Anok and other POC models and I’m incredibly happy they’re making the issue of not only nepotism, but colorism in the industry more spotlight for discussion. And I totally agree Anok was more eloquent. But gatekeeping on who gets to complain about nepotism ain’t it and missing the point of Vittoria’s statement ain’t it. Nepotism affects everyone and everyone is allowed to complain about it.
