#just remembered gwevin week starts tomorrow...#i have so much to write i'm a little bit in pain#butttt ive been going through movesets and character sketches for the playing hero characters and#honestly it is so much fun#at one point i became completely obsessed w the idea of vague romantic incomplete sentences and meaningless deep words but#it doesn't beat plot#pretty words. phrases that sound nice. stuff you can soak in while reading something in that moment#can never beat actual storytelling#pretty words could never keep me invested#not like this you know?#development and twists and revelations and the pure thrill of writing out complex action sequences in a way that makes it all come together#smoothly#is something romance can't touch for me#true. satisfying completing working writing#is making your stiry work. making your dynamics and characters and story segments fit together and make SENSE#not just. sound good.#and i missed writing properly#i'm so happy writing like it's supposed to be#i think that's why it's so hard for me to read most reader-insert fics/kpop fics#everything is so stagnant and one two three and just. dreary and dull#of course there are good ones#but i think. most of them are not for me
