The Qinghe Nie's traditional marriage hunt is meant to help showcase the abilities of both the hunters and the hunted, in order to help bring together auspicious pairings through the push and pull of strength and cunning.
Too bad none of the Jin who were practically thrown into the woods by their Sect Leader know that.
