Random question but its been on my mind lately, what do you think are the pilgrims favorite disney princesses. Or just fav disney movie in general. This is very important for science.

Tripitaka…projects a little too easily onto Belle. She is bookish! She is polite and refined and filial! She’s thrown into prison by a monster for being good! She gets frightened and runs away and has to be saved from more monsters but the narrative never condemns her for that!

Never mind the whole bit where she teaches the monster manners and shows him the books she loves and slowly realizes he’s a good person...

Bajie likes Meg, which everyone else finds baffling because literally all her problems are caused by men. But Bajie has a thick layer of insulating stupidity around that entire topic and so he just goes: Hot! Sassy! Helplessly in love with the hot golden muscular hero! (Me!) Oh yeah!

This is not to say she’s necessarily his favorite visually: he will spend ages debating whether Esmerelda or Pocahontas was sexier. Or he would, if he could find anyone willing to put up with more than thirty seconds of it without trying to drown him in the Mother-Child River.

Wujing loves honorable brave Mulan, and gets low-key choked up when she’s thrown out of the military, but Snow White is his favorite. She works hard and puts on a brave cheerful face after being driven into exile by her only family. And even though she’s not the most competent pilgrim princess, she is kind and diligent, and she stops people fighting, and wins over even the crankiest characters. Who wouldn’t love her?

Ao Lie is of course far too sophisticated to be interested in children’s shows. (Elsa is his favorite.)

Wukong loves the warrior princesses, obviously. Moana and Merida and Mulan, whooo! Romance plots in general bore him to death, let’s have some fighting!

Probably he vibes most closely with Merida, but he goes full howler monkey during Mulan’s final battle, to the point where no one else in the group has any idea what’s being said in that scene because Wukong is too busy gleefully bouncing on the couch and yelling about what he would have done and trying to bully his brothers into dressing up as the “ugly concubines.”

Ok so I see a lot of fem klance art with them having longer hair and no.

Listen, I love everyone's headcannons. I love seeing different opinions.

But every single time someone makes a fem au with longer hair it kills me inside.

Fem lance would still have the short hair I think. She'd look like a model, like someone who shaved her head for fashion. That along with her slim frame and long legs get her a lot of attention.

Fem keith would still have the mullet. Its such a queer, masc lesbian thing to do I think she'd rock it. That plus her obvious muscles- she's the masc dream.
