Remembering cakeverse is the vampire-coded version of omegaverse and how the original creator that started this just made the genre by being hungry for a treat
Anyways, now I've entered a new hell for myself in expanding the basics (cake/fork) into Cutlery (fork/knife/spoon) and Courses (appetizer/side/entree/dessert)
⚠️Extended rambles below⚠️
Cutlery
Differences in potential for consumption and potential for violence/obsession mostly, may have preferences towards certain courses
Fork : Prone to consumption, may become obsessed towards their course of choice to the point of violence
Knife : Less focused on consuming their course, mostly violent not due to obsession but an urge to hunt them
Spoon : Prone to consumption, not necessarily violent event when obsessed but may be harmful to themselves

Courses
Tbh the differences are: (1) who has the genes to deter the cutlery from consuming them, (2) how filling consumption would be, (3)how addicting they are upon discovery, and (4) commonality
(Common) Appetizer : No deterrent, somewhat filling but not satisfying enough, relatively low in cutlery obsession
(Uncommon) Side : Deterrent, moderately filling but varying in satisfaction, moderate chance in cutlery obsession
(Rare) Entree : Deterrent, very filling and moderately satisfying, moderate chance in cutlery obsession (probably hunted by knives for the other 2 a lot, idk)
(Rare) Dessert : No deterrent, not filling but highly satisfying, high chance for cutlery to obsess and cause in-fighting (imagine these guys being Helen of Troy and the cutlery as Paris, that's basically it)

Others
Drinks : I just imagine these as the middle of a normal person and a course, where they are the common alternative sources for cutlery to enjoy actual food like normal people via blood drives disguising food programs
Glass/Porcelain : Middle of cutlery and regular people that can enjoy both normal food and courses, probably also common enough to be the reason the blood drive/food program thing exists and is curated
??? : Idk what to call it but it's the middle of the cutlery and courses, they can also enjoy both kinds of foods but may have stronger hunger/appetite than either
