I still think my favourite work story is the one where Mr. Jenn (a building inspector) called out a plumbing issue on a job he was inspecting, and the contractor got really huffy and offended, and demanded to know why he thought he was qualified to comment on a plumbing error.

Me if I ever become a motivational speaker for students: Any they/them's out there? You're gonna want to focus on a degree that gets you a doctorate. Not because it'll get you further in life or anything, it's just because you can then ask people to use the honorific Doctor instead of the normal gendered ones.

I think he'd either be a pirate musician like frenchie is or just like a random bard who maybe performs at some bar or something and frenchie sees him as his biggest rival and thinks he's winding him up on purpose but Al's character has no idea and just thinks it's neat to meet other musicians
