The trailer is out, the date is set, and the fandom negative nellies are out in force, wearing their sandwich boards, ringing their bells and wailing that the end is nigh. Even if some of the concerns turn out to be valid, where do they find the time and energy to spend so much of it moaning? What's the point of being so worked up over it at this point? Whatever happens, it's still just a game, and we still have the original. Do they just... like being miserable?

dude I feel you, I get it. it’s not acceptable and stalking behaviour is almost always a gateway crime to even worse things. but nobody deserves to be treated the way yoonbum is being treated whatever they’ve done and the story (as the power of storytelling is want to do) puts you in a position where you feel sorry for him and want him to be free and safe and treated kindly. which is particularly driven home by his past of being abused. you can understand WHY he desperately wants love even in unhealthy dynamics and the tragedy is that he does so because his lifelong model of love has been distorted by abuse. you can understand and feel for a character without condoning or glorifying the bad shit they do. that’s what makes story telling and people so interesting.

Nothing is flawless, and accepting that and not getting super bent out of shape over little flaws that pop up from time to time can really help you, yknow, enjoy things more

Flaws that endure over the entire course of a work are definitely more worth talking about, but like. one line of dialogue? or a scene where a character is off model? a handful of panels in a comic that reused a background? try to let it go. making things is tough and not everything people make will be flawless. in fact. none of it will be. at all. ever.
