So tired of watching David Tennant play a non human entity, who cannot be with the love of his life due to his non humanity, whose love then ends up with a human clone of him, only for the actual him to sacrifice himself for the sake of humanity having never known true peace and happiness. Weird for one version of that to be universally acknowledged as tragic while the other is allegedly a happy ending. Weirder that the happy version is the one where they don't even have the memories of who they were before
