I did some digital paintings of the best cat that ever lived, Princess. She was R's cat for 20 years and mine too for a little under half of that. She was a sweet, fuzzy moron. Her response to a human in emotional distress was to drop to the ground and crawl rapidly out of the room.

Princess is high on fabric shopping. Or really just plastic. She does love licking plastic.

1. We’re trying to get Princess to understand the word “lunch”. She doesn’t. @mzrowan has chosen to call the cat’s dinner “second lunch” because god knows if she can’t learn one food word we have no hope of her learning two.

2. One of the reasons to get Princess to learn the word “lunch” is so that she’ll get off her lazy cat butt and come downstairs for food instead of waiting for a human to come carry her.

3. But I’m so tired and a little under the weather so this evening I kept thinking “ugh, don’t wanna go upstairs and get the cat, I should text her that it’s dinner time.”

4. The cat does not have a phone.

5. Even if the cat had a phone I don’t like the chances of her learning to read text messages.
