After getting that anon, I read the puyo nexus article about shin madou and it still doesn't seem like it's just glorified or compile-published fanfic, especially since again, the console version of y~on takes so heavily from it and compile allowed it to be written based on other madou games they published. It just feels like either an alternate canon, one still based on their games and visual novels, or at least, a different interpretation of the hell lore compile tried slapping in their games before money issues completely messed them over, making it the only sound or solid version of a timeline compile tried putting together. Compile lore and doppel are cans of worms.
