this is the pettiest possible gripe i have with this movie but

labor day weekend in texas, no matter where in texas, is going to clock in at least in the low 90s, if not the triple digits. it's called late-summer rather than fall for a reason.

there is no fucking way that alex, no matter how dedicated to the aesthetic, is going to be driving in a leather jacket in 90 degree temperatures. not to mention henry, at the very least, would be just about dying of heat stroke in that suit.
