i mean... introduction of old who villan
humans think than can control the alien but in reality it is stronger than they know
humans at first value it and refuse to give it up

thinks it's the last of it's kind
shows mercy when prompted by new companion
the doctor knows of it but companion doesn't understand
alien could end the world, but chooses not to...
