Netflix Recommendation of the Week: It's a Disaster.
Sorry for the brief hiatus but we are back in full swing and kicking this week off right with a particularly special recommendation: It's a Disaster. This film is not just a great throwaway film to watch for free when you're bored. It's one of the funniest comedies of the year by far. This isn't your typical disaster film. Its a spectacular character study courtesy of David Cross and it is even more impressive when you realize that the entire film is basically set in one house. Its probably the most earnest reaction to the end of the world that i've seen and its done in a hilariously endearing way courtesy of its stars that include Julia Stiles and America Ferrera. This movie is a slow build towards self understanding and acceptance. There's even a hysterical little twist. See this film and thank me later. It deserves your Netflix five star rating.
