Item #145 - Lasts: Find an old photo that depicts the last of something for you. For example: The last time I held your hand, The last time I saw you, The last time we hugged, The last time my parent carried me in from the car, The last time I felt truly carefree, Etc.
Item #145 - Mary Poppins and the Demogorgon from Stranger Things both loved hanging around in the Upside down! Create a convincing image of you having upside-down high tea on the ceiling with Mary Poppins and a Demogorgon. Post it to social media and tag the Stranger Things accounts and GISH. - Inspired by TessaMac
NURSING HOME HAPPINESS BUILDERS by Christine #Gish2018 #item145 Every year, my gran can’t make up her mind about whether we should invade Roland Park Place with a GISH item. This year, she told us we shouldn’t do it because Roland Park Place is under remodel, so in the spirit of GISH, we’re doing it anyway! Show up ... at Roland Park place disguised as a construction worker. Bring small, individually wrapped pre-packaged (not homemade!) treats for the residents (like miniature candy bars), flowers, magnifying reader glasses, or a sweet drawing from a child that has something written on it like “Roland Park Place, The Happiest Place on Earth”, (or ideally something more imaginative, but definitely upbeat.) Be cognizant of the construction & please don’t be intrusive. Also, because I’m not committed to pure nepotism, you can do this at any senior care facility if no one on your team can make it to Roland Park Place.
