Yesterday, I was at the gas station. An older lady walked out and approached me and my friend. She asked us if we had any money we could spare, she told us about how she needed to pick up a prescription. I know what it's like to be short money for something you really need, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I ended up scrounging together four dollars because I myself didn't have any cash on me.
