Mina felt goosebumps as his fingers trailed along her skin. His question took her by surprise. Being put on the spot like that, she needed a moment. "That's difficult," She bit her bottom lip and her expression became thoughtful. The stutter was dissipating as she grew more comfortable. "I've only seen a few of your pieces... and your attention to detail is-" Words drifted off into silence and her gaze seemed so far off as she remembered, the softest of smiles pulled at her lips. "There is one," She went on describing it, "The texture on the evergreens made me feel as if I could reach out and touch them. Looking at the painting it was like I was there. I could smell the fresh air, and feel the slight chill, hear the water. It brought me back to when I was a child, lying in the grass and staring at the sky. Peaceful, serene... full of awe as day turned to night." Her eyes slowly drifted back to his. “...there was also a charcoal sketch of a woman, you captured something in her eyes.” It was something she couldn’t quite put her finger on, but it was moving. Mina got the impression he cared for the woman, whoever she was.
