I’m shocked I’m being asked about that so quickly thank you cinderrrr🥹
so Idio doesn’t take a lot of his relationships outside of work that seriously, maybe that’s because of the fact he’s in “witness protection” so he thinks his relationships he makes now are pointless or maybe its because he has face blindness and he treats most people the exact same but he’s not completely apathetic he’s just got the same personality for everyone he meets initially
but he has this complex about people who try to pursue him romantically beyond short flings (he does NOT gaf about the Oder act) which leads to a lot of funny idio perspective stuff for me.
(these are his thoughts, not mine, I’m willing to smash his face into anyone’s, but i like thinking of his perspective like this because it makes him a little more complex)
Some fun examples of this among the ays love interests we’ve seen:
Chance: Idio thought their first meeting was leading up to a one night stand, especially because chance talks about “being from out of town” and this being their “first time at the iron cafe” so logically idio is like “ah yes, simple easy, they’ll be gone in the morning” but no, no it was not, and he’s kinda pissed off about it.
I mean Chance is charming and fun to be around, but he’s not interesting to idio, hes an out of touch rich kid who doesn’t know when to stop and he’s not someone idio can find himself able to relate to, he does however play with the idea of using him for cash in his head and he hasn’t decided if he should tell chance its not gonna work or keep up the free money glitch…
(on the other hand… Itrapped is someone he can definitely relate to)
Shed: Idio thinks of him as a celebrity so he doesn’t count and there’s no possible way, shed to him is a online figure that helped him out of his depressive slump so he envies and looks up to him in a vaguely parasocial way, but the idea of anything more in person could never cross his mind, he does indulge in fan fiction about it tho, 100% has a fanboy man crush.
He also has based his whole new persona on shed so the idea of shedletsky falling in love with what is a mirror of himself is really funny, their are just so many copy’s of shedletsky out there idio just thought “one more wouldn’t hurt” it also makes sheds claims to “know him” completely wrong because he would have realized the irony by now. But he’s too delusional to notice.
Mafioso: that man is a criminal of some kind, no doubt, and he’s probably looking for a spy at the iron cafe to watch Inforcer to make sure he’s doing his part.
its clear to him someone out there is getting inforcer all that illegal alcohol, and who’s to say its not connected to him? And the deal would probably be tempting, but Idio’s already got an admin up his ass about being on his “best behavior” (podzol another oc who is his parol officer and an admin basically) so he can’t even accept any offers from the guy. He does think he’s an alright guy all things considered, but he also doesn’t see the dons pursuits as romantic, he thinks its just business and he’ll evantually be thrown to the curb like all lackeys are.
Inforcer (surprise!): Idio can’t date his landlord/boss, he does want him but he has to draw a line somewhere, also Dee and Boyd will kill him dead for it and he likes their company too much to do that, their in a band to me btw. But also definitive connections with the mob also, wayyyy too risky and also he likes Christy and kohl he desmt fully grasp how the polycule works and feels like asking will be too awkward so he isn’t allowing himself to try.
(But they are my favorite, mainly because inforcer is he only person other than podzol who has actually physically seen idio while he was a depressed hermit and he doesn’t judge idio for it and it makes me love them a lot… ironaddict is real 2 me….)

(but i do love oc asks they are like sweet treats to me and they make me feel great and i also type sooo much holy moly… since i spammed words i also wanna mention im making a love taste animatic for idio because you and aqua were making bangers and i need ot fight back…)
