I watched this with a friend of mine, and if you have Apple TV + I will tell you to watch it. It is simply so good. And all the little bits in this YouTube video are 100 % right. Keep it in mind on a bad day!

the *homecoming* theme of 2001 will never not make me cry. like. a lot of people have described 2001 as having a cold and dehumanized design and that's true & that's part of what I love about it. but there's also this undertone that's so incredibly human. it's more explicit in the book (Clarke has always struck me as more of a softie than Kubrick) but it's also very subtly there in the film. damn I love 2001 aso. it's just ;-; ;-;

sulks because i know i should just drop this show despite my years of attachment to it to avoid being a massive hypocrite because i do stand by my beliefs and i am genuinely getting squicked out by all this it’s bad enough to know theres a massive fanbase for this stuff but i can ignore it pretty easily w blacklisting and muting but to see it in my canon now and have it be brought up a ton for seemingly no reason? that’s really bugging me not gonna lie

- Answering this so it’s out there. This isn’t the first message I got complaining about Ryota or his reactions. 

Sorry there’s no reference pages for Ryota, Kiyomi, or Taki. In the real world I’ve been on a job hunt for about a year and a half now and besides that I’m also living a day to day life. I don’t sit here and draw 24/7 churning out responses and references.

If you read the blog and dont just jump in you would have seen that his intentions are entirely different. Until the very recent updates the blog was dead for about a month because I was working on another blog. The interactions Ryota has had are all based on the fact that he wants to alter time for a specific event. He only teamed up with Skittles for the fact that she’s a genius and can find out stuff fairly easily and willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants.

REMEMBER. it’s all characters. If anyone should be offended it should be your characters not you. Taking things personally is a sure way to lose your head, lash out, and get on people’s shit list pretty quickly. If you’re not sure on something just scout a few pages and get a bearing on the facts. 

Now if you don’t like the characters simply…DONT ASK THEM ANYTHING. It’s pretty simple. -
