*dives headlong into your asks* Gimme a #9 and make it Braham!
Here’s some pre getting together Ryrra and Braham for this!
Braham struggled his way to consciousness, his body heavy and pulling him with force towards the comfort of sleep. His mouth was dry, his eyes bleary and filled with dagger sharp pain when he finally managed to open them. The light from the window — much too bright — caused his brain to recoil into the back of his skull before contracting and expanding in hammering pain.
“Spirits, my head hurts,” he groaned, and found his words cloying and thick in his mouth.
“Well yeah,” a voice to his side said, and Braham rolled himself over in shock. “You drank about my body’s weight in booze last night.”
“Ryrra?” Braham blinked as his surroundings became more clear: a small bed, his upper body bare, lower covered by blankets. Ryrra, her hair slightly disheveled and sprawled out on the pillow beneath her. Her body entirely covered by the same blanket, just pulled up around her. Bright, red eyes watching his every move.
“What — what in Wolf’s name are you doing here!”
“I was trying to sleep,” she said, then smiled, showing her sharp teeth and momentarily distracting Braham with the reoccurring daydream he had about their many uses. “Morning, sunshine.”
“Uh, um, right…” He swallowed back the sudden feeling of cotton stuffed into his mouth and tried to keep his heart from racing out of his chest. He glanced down at himself, then over at Ryrra and the hint of distinctly bare shoulder that poked out from beneath the blankets.
“We didn’t — I mean, we’re not —” he started, unable to fully finish his question.
Try as he might he couldn’t remember much of the night before, and he definitely didn’t remember how he ended up here. A suspicion, both embarrassing and exhilarating, took hold of him, and he tried to subtly lift the blankets covering his lower half to confirm it.
“Calm down, Braham,” Ryrra laughed, and he noticed her watching him inspect his breeches covered legs. “Though I’m a little offended at the panic in your voice at the thought of fucking me.”
Of course the thought made him panic. He didn’t want her to know about it. He didn’t even want himself thinking it right now, just in case his body decided to betray him and she noticed that too.
Braham let the blanket drop, though part of him wanted to lift it over his head and hide like some type of mortified child. That’s what he felt like at the moment, and Ryrra’s bright peal of laughter and her damned creamy, spotted skin wasn’t helping the whirlwind of feelings going on inside him.
“You’re cute when you’re flustered, did you know?”
Ryrra laughed again and playfully pat his cheek with her palm. A deep blush spread from where her skin made contact with his, and he knew for sure she must have noticed that, at the very least.
“You passed out after your tenth or so drink,” she explained, and settled herself back against the pillow. Braham could see now that the blanket had fallen a bit that she wore a thin shirt, the sleeves draping far off her shoulders. “I dragged you back here, with a bit of help. Then I thought I should make sure you didn’t die in your sleep or something. I guess I fell asleep at some point too.”
“Oh.” He pulled his eyes away from her shoulder and back to her face. The explanation made sense, but it didn’t help the embarrassment he felt. He gave her a half-hearted smile in apology. “Sorry about that. But, thanks, Ry.”
Ryrra held his eyes for a moment, and the sudden stillness around them made Braham aware of just how close the two of them were, side by side in the small bed.
“Anytime,” she said finally.
