i. upon having been far-sighted, he used to need the assistance of reading glasses like his never confirmed father ( this fanart is part of the reason why i indulge in this thought but also because i just wanted him to have one ( 1 ) medical flaw ) his vision is “ fixed ” and “ perfected ” from the point of time the irises changed to the golden colour. ( this does not always apply to au’s, where he most likely will need reading glasses till he becomes old and grey. )
ii. as odd as it sounds, he never could stand the fact that people wish upon shooting stars. the idea of them pushing their own desires on something dying before it expires rubbed this child the wrong way and there will always be something irking and distasteful about it, but he’d grow to care less with age.
iii. contrary to his development into a methodically apathetic person(tm) , he was very sensitive towards his environment. often fantasized about the possibility to be surrounded by sad, half-living things. ( cough - asteria the goddess of fallen stars is an island -cough ) how stars are untold stories. how his home-island is surrounded by salt water and because tears are salt-water too, he played with the assumption that the ocean is made from the tears of the sky, or the grief of the land, that is until, of course, he'd read every book that he could find about every unsettling thing he kept on assuming.
