Miss Kitty’s Liverpool
This week I went to Miss Kitty’s in Liverpool, I had spotted an advert for it on Facebook and had to go try it out.
We arrived early but this wasn't a problem and we were seated at a nice four person table. It was actually so big my dining partner decided to move and sit next to me.
We were brought free jasmine tea and a bottle of cold water, which was a great start in my opinion! I hate when you have to ask for water and get the look of death from waiters/waitresses.
To start we ordered salt and pepper sesame tiger shrimps and a dim sum selection of prawn toast, spring rolls and fried sui mai. For main I had fiery tiger shrimp in Malaysian chilli coconut sauce with coconut curry fries and Viv ordered hoisin fried chicken with cucumber & spring onion and jasmine rice.
I love chinese food but sometimes you can feel a bit a bloated and sick after it. A lot of what we ordered was fried, however I felt great after it and didn't feel stuffed.
I would highly recommend Miss Kitty’s its a great hidden gem in Liverpool, you may just need to take a torch for the toilets. It was so dark, there was only a few candles around and very dim red lighting. It did feel and look like I was in a club toilet. Not cool when your eating out for a nice meal. I may be a toilet snob but I would rather see what state the toilet is in before I go.
