This is the third time I’ve tried answering this. Hopefully third time lucky (!). I’ll answer the qs about the Böhmi looks in a reblog of this so it might actually work

I don’t think I have found my way, to be fair. I think I just sort of hover around. The long version is my friend - who is coincidentally from Bremen. Dunno who tjat could be - told me about this local satirist. Then he came up in conversation again when he did the NYT video on the far-right. A few clips and a trip to Vegesack later, and here I am.
3. Fernsehkritiker-Kritiker: Welche ZMR/NMR-Folge findest du komplett daneben?
Most cop-out reply but I genuinely don’t think any of the ZMR episodes fit the bill for this question, for me. I find something to enjoy in every one, whether it’s because the episode is genuinely investigative or there’s just good jokes. I even loved the marathon episode. I will say that even the episodes where I’ve thought ‘that could be more detailed/contextual/link back to the point better’ ultimately it’s a satire show, under 30 mins every week. It can’t do it all. I’m not expecting him to be Germanys answer to Ian Hislop, basically.

Great question. Olli vs Jan: Duell um die Welt, obviously. The pure chaos would be delightful.

To my shame, most of them. Currently the Eurovision song and Warum hört der Fahrradweg einfach hier auf? are dominating my brain though.

28. Fest & Flauschig: Bist du treue*r Hörer*in des Podcasts? Was magst du daran?
Hahah, not really. I listen to it and enjoy it, but definitely not a hardcore listener (and I don’t get all the references). I really like their chemistry, the way chat is just made up of the most random and relevant topics and Jan’s political takes. I do like it most because it’s a tool for passive learning though. Ultimately, their voices are familiar and I enjoy hearing what they have to say, so it’s a motivator when I can’t be arsed to do structured lessons (which is all the time right now). Same reason why I love Baywatch Berlin and Too Many Tabs.
30. Zwei alte Hasen erzählen von Früher: Was war das erste, was du von Böhmi gesehen oder gehört hast und was war deine Reaktion?
The New York Times video! I love learning, and do find it weirdly frustrating, if not exciting, that there’s things out there I don’t know. I was sort of clued up on German politics before, but not as much as I should have, so the video really ticked the boxes of: nice voice, informative AND left wing. Triple whammy. I was sort of lucky that I did German at school in that I could jump straight into the show (and thus… ended up here). I do think he just came across as a super funny, switched-on guy. A natural orator.
42. Böhmi Brutzelt: Du bist zu Gast in der Kochshow. Was ist deine Spezialität?
New Jersey enchiladas. Chicken and leek pie with mash, or spicy Thai fish cakes, which I’ve been told I do really well.

Bet you’re expecting me to say Fritz-Kola, but tis actually football special. Me and my friend once drove from Derry to get it direct from the source. It’s really hard to describe in terms of flavour, but it’s gooood. Honourable mentions to: choccy milk, Irn Bru (the original recipe, the new stuff is bad), and Живчик apple.
