Just woke up from the best night of my life. Kinda thought it was a dream, but the pain in my lower back and feet tells me it isn’t. Was waiting in line from 12 noon till 5 pm. We entered the gates with a gazillion LANY fans eager to be near the stage just like us. Waited 2.5 more hours standing in a jampacked area for @pauljasonklein @_lespriest and @jakecgoss to play their magic. I and larp were near the stage but we didnt manage to be at the barricades. We whispered to each other “sablay gd ya permi ang tanan” ang laughed. If you wanna know why just read my previous FB post hihi. Then Pauly was last to enter and i was transfixed on Jake and Les’ setup, i didnt see he was already jumping up and down at the corner of the stage. They were playing Dumb Stuff as an opener then 4ever! then things were at a blur then while playing Made in Hollywood I FUCKIN FELL ON TOP OF LARP! I was thinking i was dead and that i cant move my legs because apparently around 10 people were on top of me and we stayed there for a good 20 seconds at least. Yes babes, THERE WAS A FUCKIN STAMPEDE ON A @thisislany SHOW and i and larp were casualties. By the time they played ItWas Love, 2 girls fainted in front of us. Everyone helped to pull them up and managed to get them through the barricades and out the Big Dome. I was praying hard that time “Please dont let me faint x100” while still holding my phone up to take videos that were crappy and the songs were incomplete and all i see were phones but i loved that experience. Damn it was raw. The warmth and the spirit inside the arena? I bought that with me until i laid in bed last night. Paul is a charismatic frontman but i also adore Jake and Les for doing their thing effortlessly. I actually felt so weird listening to a live concert that doesnt utilise a bass guitar but the electro synth pop roots is not so bad and Jake’s bass drum was doing soooo well. Thank you, guys. Thank you for this experience. I’d be feeling the happy painful pain my body is going through for more than a week i guess. Bahaha. Love you, good thing #deathbyLANY did not happen.
