Went for a walk in Laurelhurst to ogle the ferns covered in snow; snapped a little photo of our newest pin by the pond! ❄️👁 #documentingyrscene #itwillbeknowntous https://www.instagram.com/p/BtugDfMBQHy/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=ka3l4wgycoyd
{a rainbow in one place} as a kid (& who am I kidding: also as an adult) I was really into collecting stickers, so I’m wildly happy to be making my own now for others to collect, over at @itwillbeknowntous, @etrithart & my rad collaboration!
The next post in my #thewomxnwhoinspireme series is my bestie, Emma Brown Trithart. Here is why she inspires me.
Emma is hands-down the most effortless best friend I’ve had come into my life. No one has ever seemed such a perfect fit for the hard-to-fill position of bff and best shopping buddy for life! She is the sweetest, most caring friend, quick to forgive and always ready to lend a hand in whatever capacity she can. Emma is one of the most intelligent and absurdly witty women I know. No one tells an on-point dad joke like Emma Trithart tells an on-point dad joke! I have spent more nights staying up laughing about stupid junk with Emma than I can feign to remember, but those memories are some of the most meaningful to me.
Emma is an exceedingly talented artist and illustrator; and an actively sympathetic, charitable human. She is a friend to everyone who is lucky enough to encounter her in life, but is an especially phenomenally supportive spouse to her ultimate partner in life and crime, Bryan.
In addition to killing it on the regular with beautiful illustrated projects for such awesome clients as Caribou Coffee, American Girl, Disney Hyperion, General Mills, Harper Collins, L.A. Times, Marvel, Royal Caribbean and Simon & Schuster (phew!), she has also been working on a collaborative side-project with another inspiring woman and poet Lisa Ciccarello. It Will Be Known To Us produces zines, pins and other spooky stuff for the witchy in all of us. And she is also donating a portion of the proceeds from her Studio on Fire 2017 letterpress desk calendar to the Southern Poverty Law Center. You can still snag one from her shop!
Along with this post, I am donating money to the Southern Poverty Law Center, doing my part to help fight hate, teach tolerance, and seek justice. Please consider joining me, and stay tuned for my next installment!

We want to thank everyone for keeping us from being lonely, so here’s a creepy wallpaper we made for you! {It’s also a bit of sneak peak for something we’re working on right now.}
Enjoy!
We don't get too many submissions from men, though I'm not sure why, because when we do they're awesome!
Love this shot of our pins on Land Gallery’s instagram today! Head into the store to see them today, or find them online at Buy Olympia!
