Actually, what Obama’s administration did was list all the countries in the ban as high risk countries so that anyone travelling from there should have extra background checks done. Trump’s administration merely took that same list and banned the countries on it.
Big difference.
And if Trump merely upped security coming from those countries, people would still be losing their minds.
