Headcanon Meme

the only one he’s ever considered a ‘monster’ is himself. it might surprise some to know that he weighs his sins more heavily than those of his contemporaries. truthfully he probably couldn't tell you why he considers his actions more monstrous than comparable transgressions of his peers. perhaps it has to do with the fact that unlike general hux, he doesn't entirely believe that this path is the righteous one and he hasn't sunk so far into depravity to not care who is harmed as leader snoke does. he has a sliver of conscience left to him and that is likely what make him see himself as a monster more so than others. but he accepts what he is. he sees no other way forward, no other way to be.

Everything was regimented, timed out, scheduled, and rationed out for the stormtroopers, but Nines wasn’t gonna lie; dinner was the best event of the day. They even got a little extra time on certain days. This was one of those days.

As such, the mess hall was kriffing mobbed. But, there was a vacant seat, so Nines went for it, setting his tray down on the table and removing his helmet to eat as he swung onto the bench.

“--Best part of the day, am I right?”
