    【 Gabe could barely breathe. His sides burned and his eyes watered but, no matter how much he tried, he couldn't stop laughing. Snow was in a similar state, her soft, bell-like laughter echoing around his apartment, her face pressed into his shoulder, her hand fisted in the fabric of his v-neck t-shirt. He couldn't remember the last time he'd laughed so hard. 】

                     ” She-- she shot  an ogre!? “ 

    【 His tone was tinged with disbelief even as he barked out another laugh, burying his face into Snow's neck. He'd missed this -- just the two of them, joking around, sharing stories, just enjoying one another's company and their friendship. He couldn't remember the last time they'd just had some time for the two of them.

Snow and Gabe had always had a very strong connection and a deep love for one another, going back almost since the moment they'd met in his Granny's chicken coop. It was a connection no one had ever been able to touch or rival, not even Charming or Peter. They simply understood one another in a way no one else could. They had one another's back, through thick and thin, no matter what and it'd upset him how little time they'd been able to spend together since the curse broke -- and all hell broke loose.  

It was why they'd decided to have a 'Bff night', just the two of them holed up in Gabe's apartment. David had been more than happy to relinquish his wife for a night, understanding the pair's need to reconnect and reaffirm their friendship. They'd spent a good three hours sharing stories of the last couple weeks -- Snow about her time in the Enchanted forest, Gabe about the drama and chaos Storybrooke had been left in during her and Emma's absence.

After two bottled of wine, they both seemed to find Emma's blunder a bit too funny, but it was nice to simply let loose, to forget the shit that'd had to deal with the last thirty or so years. 】

okay so i know i already wished you a happy birthday on skype but this is important to say. i'm so glad i found you and have had an opportunity to not only write with your a+++ charming but also to get to know you! you're a lovely person & i'm honored to be your snowmate. <33 you really do deserve these few days off from work, too. i hope you enjoy them, today especially. so, happy birthday, you precious angel. ily a lot.

Yes you are my Snowmate forever & ever (unless you leave Snow, in which I will be so eternally sad tbh) but I am glad you came into my life when you did and you really are just an amazing person and friend, Bri.  I'm so excited to have found you and I love you a whole hecka lot and hope you have a fab Christmas okay.  <33
