Upon first listen, my instant reaction was that I liked the production on Evermore more than that of Folklore's. Now that I've listened to the entire album a couple of times, I'm truly in awe at Taylor's unparalleled lyricism (it's not something new, but the way she feels so intensely and portrays those emotions through lyrics so perfectly, it never fails to amaze me) I could not appreciate the imagery in this album more, like -Champagne Problems, Coney Island, Dorothea, Right where you left me, these all have such vivid imagery and all of the songs are just...so evocative ? I love that she could experience more with these songs in terms of creating characters, arcs and stories, upon which she reflected her own emotions (as she said in the Apple Music interview). I genuinely love the songs so much and the more I listen to the album, even the songs I thought would be skips for me at first, such as - Cowboy like me, Happiness and Evermore, keeps growing on me. Also, I really love the bonus tracks ?? Specially "Right where you left me" !!
