Merry Christmas Lightnin'~
Fang approached the pink haired warrior slowly, offering a friendly wave and her usual cocky grin to the woman. "Ay, Ligh'~ Sorry if my timin' is bad or somethin', but I figured now would be as good a time as any ta give ya your gift.. So, yeeeah."
The gift in question was currently strapped against her back, via it's black leather sheath. The pulsian hesitated a moment though, unsure of just how Lightning would act upon receiving such a gift - but truly Fang had no other idea on what to get her at the time. Only by luck had she found this unique weapon earlier in the week, and for whatever reason she couldn't walk away from it.
"Now.. Jus' so ya know, I ain't really good with the whole gift givin' thing.. An' I didn't exactly wrap it up for ya, since I didn't think ya'd mind, but.." A hand undid the latch of the leather strap as she spoke, and soon the sword was being held out towards her companion hilt first. There was a flicker of uncertainty in her jade orbs, as she waited for some sort of reaction from the pinkette.
The approach did not fall upon deaf ears, or paralyzed senses, for instantaneously had she turned in accordance to the shuffling of the Pulsian dragoon’s mobility. Lagoon-like orifices allowed their waters to ease into subtle waves of placidity through familiarity and camaraderie as the woman mentioned approached further, until the listless gesture would willfully be initiated. The right of ebony coated appendages found settling refuge unto the corresponding hip, also barred in ebony, leathern brilliancy, while the other explained her self-consciousness when it came to the timing, and even more so as she listened to her lack in faith on what she had gotten the Paladin.
Henceforth would she then step inward, huffing in amusement’s cauterizing expulsion and rarity. A nod of fore-acceptance would initiate, all while the waters of the lagoons rippled in emphasis to the acceptance. As one was undoubtedly her comrade, why would she dare to hinder the other from bearing some form of humility to herself? Of course, there was the tinge of regret that sparked within the confines of her abdomen at the lack of gifts she had for the rest of the people dear to her. Priorities had been birthed as of late, and time was cut short by events that she knew little of. However, she would grant the other words of challenging endearment. “Try me.”
And so, there it was. A weapon of unique brilliancy, draconic and beauteously presented through chromatic, silver plating. It was nicked and notched in detailed frenzy, the hilt jutting downward like pincers at the base of the weapon’s fang. Dragons sprouting outward at the base of said pincers in a menacing display. In fact, in alignment to their positioning were dual blades—undoubtedly signaling that these were mere compartments to miniature daggers. Though it was unlike any weapon she would find herself being drawn to, she indeed was. Thus, the lateral of dainty ebony appendages took grasp upon the pommel at first, before coiling about cushioned ebony that morphed about the handle. Its weight was perfect, stabilized in all forms and fashions of the meaning.
“—Yeah, wrapping would’ve been pointless.” A small chuckle. “—Thanks.”
