A/N: I feel like the armorer herself took a bit of back seat in this (which was a CRIME FOR ME TO DO!) but the context of the piece is that this is seen as part of a final chapter for Din and reader (since it’s a part 3 to Nervarro and Sorgan) Both fics I spent a lot of time on might I add (self promo eek). Anyway so The Armorer is seen as the one who forged a bond between the two, creating a path for not only Din but reader as well. Please let me know what you think of it in the comments!

Din Djarin x female!reader
Another trip to Nevarro, how exciting. Din didn’t usually express any particular excitement when it came to travelling from place to place but this time? He couldn’t seem to sit still.
“Is everything alright my love?” You chuckled to yourself as you watched his squirm for the third time.
“Yes! Brilliant in fact.” The nervous tone he gave raised suspicion within you. Din wasn’t known for being spontaneous. Yet ever since you had admitted your feelings for each other on Sorgan, he had become more...romantic, in a sense.
He was still on guard and in some aspects he refused to get even closer to you, sharing parts of himself he had never shared before. Although, teaching you how to dance was the piece of the puzzle that snowballed into your relationship with the Mandalorian.
You figured it was a part of his nature to be standoffish...but when you were alone? He was more tender...more, soft. He showed you glimpses of himself that would never dare to see the light of day. They were brief, easy to miss and when you gazed into the depths of him? It felt like...you had come across diamonds.
Being with Din as more than friends was...exhilarating to say the least.
Starting to celebrate the small things in life was a gradual process, one that you had learnt from him. Whether he knew it or not was entirely up to you. Din Djarin made living on board the Crest seem so...mundane.
At least...when you weren’t being hunted down or shot at.
Today wasn’t one of those days...not yet, at least.
---
It felt like you were walking on a tightrope, except that tightrope came in the form of a blade’s edge.
Why did today feel like a massive secret? He had told you where you were going, he said you were seeing the armorer once again but...he hadn’t told you why? Din always told you why, even the small details that didn’t even matter that much.
Living with a Mandalorian had taught you that ignoring the smallest of details could bring you an early downfall...if you weren’t careful. Today felt like a warning sign.
Maybe...you were just overreacting.
But you can never be too careful...right?
“Din, I feel...weird.” Voicing your concerns felt strange, especially whilst trudging through the ruins of Nevarro. After everything that had happened with the child there still wasn’t much left on the surface besides the odd bounty hunter travelling through the rocky valley. It was a good thing the covert was so well hidden.
“What do you mean by weird Cyar'ika?” his helmet flicked to you for a flicker of a moment before he set his sights on the horizon once again. He was...acting weird.
“Well first of all you’re not telling me much about what’s going on today...we’ve been together for years now I don’t understand why you can’t trust me with this information...no matter how dangerous it may be.” Shuffling the baby around, you huffed in exertion, ever since Din had purchased the satchel it felt as if the baby grew heavier and heavier with each passing day.
“I don’t know about ‘dangerous’...but after today, things might change. Hopefully for the better.” Did he have to always be so cryptic? You knew it was more like him due to his dry humor but still...it kinda hurt to be kept out of the loop.
---
Drinking tea amongst a bunch of Mandalorians felt way more awkward yet personal since last time. The armorer hadn’t changed a bit...she was still just as mysterious, strong and creative as ever.
You still admired her. Occasionally you indulged in a day dream where you and Din had met as Mandalorians. Imagining your own armor had become a particular pastime. The fact you weren’t a Mandalorian used to hurt you but ever since Din comforted you a couple of years ago, the burden seemed to ease off of your shoulders.
Protecting your clan was your life’s mission. No matter how many bounties came at you.
“So...how have things been?” These being the first words you had spoken to the armorer...ever, was an awkward realisation. Shifting your legs as you sat before her, you could only wonder what this specific meeting was about.
“Well...since Djarin contacted us the tribe have been rather excited for your arrival.” She breathed. Sometimes when she talked, it felt like the words just flowed out-wait, did she just say ‘excited’?
“Excited? What do you mean?” Confusion laced your entire being as the Mandalorians rearranged themselves before you.
The armorer reached into a pouch at her side as Din removed his gloves. What the kriff was happening right now?
You didn’t catch a glimpse of what she handed to him but by the way Din shuffled around more, squirming in fact, you saw this had been the item that made him nervous.
“Do you remember the first time we came here? The first time I properly shared my culture with you? And what it meant to me?” These questions scared you. It felt like he was about to leave without coming back for a long, long time.
“Of course I remember. Din what’s going on? You’re starting to make me nervous.” The growing concern in your voice began to throw him off as he got on one knee. Wait...what?!
“Cyare...that day you also got mistaken for my Riduur. And...If you’ll have me, I’d like to correct that by making it true.” It may have been far from a traditional proposal in your mind, but you found it cute nonetheless as you started to tear up.
Riduur...spouse, husband,
Wife.
You wanted to be his wife...for a while now actually. It only took the simple wedding band in his hand to tell you so.
“I’d be honoured and delighted to be your Riduur, my love.” Wrestling with oncoming tears, you managed to get the words out as Din took your hand, sliding the ring with ease onto your finger.
A/N: I might make tomorrow’s prompt a part two to this...we’ll see.
In this one, let’s just pretend that a certain someone has the force (also I’m not entirely sure if it was confirmed or not that they do in one way or another so we’ll explore that in the next part XD)

It started with a nightmare. The kind you forget as soon as you wake up. Dark tendrils unfurling in front of your memory, like a curtain that refused to budge. Escaping the dream was a long process, yet in reality it only took a few seconds for Din to wake you.
“Cyare, please, wake up!” a helpless plea coupled with the voice you had grown to love was the welcome you needed into the land of the living.
“What-what happened?” Coughing, you hadn’t even realized how dry your throat was. The soothing hand on your back helped, rubbing smooth circles repetitively.
“You were whimpering in your sleep, I tried to sooth you out of the dream but you started to shout...I was scared for you sweet girl.” Finally looking upon Din’s face you saw the dried tear tracks on his face. Cupping his cheek, you leaned into a keldabe kiss.
“I’m sorry Din...I don’t even remember what it was about.” Sighing into his mouth, you pecked his lips in reassurance. “...I wish I could talk about it.” Frustration laced your words with a reluctance to go back to sleep. Your Riduur’s next words put you at ease.
“I’ll be here for you always, please remember that.” With your mind fluttering back to your wedding vows, even before then you knew. Din Djarin, the Mandalorian, is your husband. He knew what he was committing to, you and only you for the rest of your lives.
Trust was a huge part of relationships, not just romantic ones. That was where it had started between you and the bounty hunter. Even if it were just a single strand of trust, it grew over time and manifested into the partnership you shared today.
“Always, riduur.” As you spoke these words into the night, Din swept a thumb across your cheek only to reveal that you had been crying as well.
---
When morning came you chose to act as if the dream had never happened. Afterall, something you couldn’t remember couldn't affect you in any way? Right?
Oh you were so terribly wrong.
As you were walking about the Crest, tending to the child’s needs whilst Din piloted the ship, a deep yet complicated feeling started to bloom in the hollow of your chest. At first you thought it was just one of those random moments your body went through, something unexplainable but left no complications. That little voice shut up as the feeling started to grow.
Falling to your knees, you took in a shuddering breath, it was as if someone had taken all rational thought away. You needed air, you needed to breathe. Ringing filled your ears causing you to fall deaf to the sound of Din’s boots as he dropped from the cockpit.
“Cyare? Cyare! ...Y/N!!” Not even his voice could comfort you now. Tears flowed uncontrollably out of your eyes, a mimicry in comparison to the helpless noises that left your throat. Touch was a farcry of comfort as a hand laid across your back, skittering about cluelessly.
“-Can’t...breathe!” A wheeze left you as you curled over in an effort to escape. What, you didn’t know. Your vision began to swirl before you, burning at the edges, it felt like you were falling.
Down, down, down you went.
As you passed out, you heard Din’s shouts quiet into a faint whisper, his voice morphing into one that filled you with dread. A figure walked through the window of your mind, one you hoped you never had to see again. Oh...but you had seen him, in your dream.
A/N: This was really short but I’m just glad I got it done. x
For @leo-moon ‘s Mandoctober!
It was that time of the day again. Usually you couldn’t tell if it was going to be a blessing or a curse. It could be the most gruelling of tasks and sometimes the highest of achievements.
Snack time.
Sure, on a day to day basis people would assume you faced far worse since you travelled with a bounty hunter. You loved the kid to pieces but sometimes he was a little menace. When it came to eating his mood could change instantaneously. After all, it only took a little rearranging for unclear to become nuclear.
Temper tantrums were rare...but today might be one of those days.
With what little food packs you had at your disposal, you’d managed to whip up a sort of soup. One that was beneficial for the child, had all of the vitamins in it and everything. Placing the bowl in front of him, you watched as his brow scrunched up, an unimpressed look fell onto his little face.
“Sorry Kid but it’s all we’ve got right now. Besides, it’s good for you.” A little encouragement could go a long way. The echo of those words faded out as things began to go downhill.
Smashing his tiny fist into the bowl, a big splash erupted from it. Coating almost the entire table in a sloppy mess. You could only imagine the unimpressed look you now sported.
“Ad'ika, that wasn’t very nice, I just made that. For you.” Attempting to guilt trip the child with puppy eyes could only go so far. He gave an indignant huff before continuing to scowl at you.
“Why are you being so mean today…” trailing off, you knew exactly why. Din hadn’t come back yet. He was due back two days ago. You knew not to contact him unless it was an emergency but you couldn’t help the urge to reach out to the comlink every night. Just to hold it and pretend he was talking to you. It was sad but...you didn’t really know what else to do.
He was your partner and you trusted and hoped that he would find his way back to his aliit.
His family.
“I know you miss him. I do too. But it’s my job to care for you when he’s not here. Okay?” The mere mention of his father had calmed him. For now. With his paradoxical mood swings you knew you had to take things slow. So instead of trying to feed him again, you swept him up in your arms so you could both sit in the cockpit.
A familiar place where many memories were held.
---
“Cyare?”
It felt like a dream. The way you woke up. Everything felt slowed down. The way you moved, breathed. Kriff, even the way he talked.
Wait...he?
“Din?” You were wide awake at the fact that he’d finally come home. He was kneeling before you, after just placing a blanket around you in the pilot’s chair. The child was still fast asleep on your stomach. Snack time had long been forgotten.
“Good morning sweet girl.” Smiling at the affectionate nickname, you beamed at the man underneath the helmet.
“I missed you.” Rubbing sleep from your eyes, you ran a hand from the back of his head down to his neck. Inching for a keldabe kiss.
“And I you. I’m sorry I was late.” As his forehead (of his helmet at least) resting against yours, all frustrations from the last couple of days melted away. Revealing only the love you held for your family.
“Everything is alright now. You’re here.” Sagging into his arms, sleep crept back into your bones.
“Rest, Cyar’ika. I’ll take care of you.” Despite his kind offer, you wanted to spend time with the man who deserved your affections.
“But you just got here.” Groaning into his neck, reluctantly letting him pull away as he turned to the controls. Somehow he managed to pilot the ship whilst standing up, at least out of orbit anyway.
“And you’ll have me when we’re in hyperspace. Just rest for now.” You could sense the smile in his words. But just the thought of it filled you with warmth, drowsiness overtaking your stubbornness.
As you fell back into your dreams, you saw the man behind the helmet. Dark chestnut hair, falling in curls that had been freshly washed, yet still smelled distinctly of him. Eyes with the happiest of wrinkles around the edges as he smiled right at you. Patchy facial hair that you loved to run your fingers through. Laughter that was subtle at first but ended up booming down hallways. Din Djarin was undoubtedly the love of your life.
