You were frantically walking around the house, zig-zaging through dancing people, loud, drinking and singing ones too, all of it in an attempt to find your friend back. She had brought you a stupid frat party just to talk to her crush, you would not blame her one bit for bringing you here had she stuck to you or told you where she had gone—which she had not.
With already a few drinks down, your head was feeling like shit and your stomach was heavy; any push or bumps against you got you further and further down the road of getting mad or crying, you weren't sure just yet.
Frowning with a clenched jaw you found your way to a semi-quiet area only to feel a heady hand on your shoulder, "What's up with you?"
Shrugging off the hand, you huffed with a shake of your head, "Tired, 's'all."
"Oh oh oh, you're wasted, aren't you?" He chuckled, wrapping an arm around your shoulders, as the other held a bottle of beer and guided it to his lips with a big smile. You tried to pull away but he kept you close, "Hey I'm not a dick, promised. I'm not gonna do jack shit—jack shit." He laughed, "Jack by the way." He reached for one of your hands as you walked as if to shake it, even with his holding a beer and yours wrapped around yourself, closing yourself to him.
Muttering your name, he scoffed and opened a door to one of the room upstairs before letting your in and shutting the door behind, "Yeah, I didn't hear that. I'm usually super good at listening to pretty girls but the music's fucking loud right now."
Even in the state your were in, you could roll your eyes and took a few steps to keep some distance from him as you repeated your name and added, "I'm not drunk enough to sleep with random guys or—or like accept drinks for people at parties and shit like that, 'kay?"
He put his bottle down and raised both hands in defense, "Got it beautiful, I wanna help is all. Here, I'll get you some water." Reaching for the small fridge behind you he grabbed a bottle and tossed it at you, you almost caught it only for him to quickly reached forward and grasp it before it could hit the floor, "You sure you don't wanna sleep it off? Drink some, 'should help with the headache."
Your eyes felt heavy but you leaned against the desk behind you as you took a deep breath and opened the bottle of water. You were startled by the door suddenly opening, "There you fucking are—ah shit, Jack Rabbit's got company" A random guy exclaimed loudly, bursting your ears off, Jack threw a pair of socks at him, "Get outta here Buck, I'm pretty sure I saw your cousin, you should try hitting her up or somethin'."
"Oh fuck off bro, that was–"
"Get your ass outta my fuckin' room man." He pushed him out, locking the door behind his fraternity brother.
The semi-quiet returned, Jack nodded at you, "'You gonna drink, or what?"
"Are all your friends into their cousin or…" You asked jokingly upon hearing the 'joke' about it.
The brunette laughed, "Nah just Buck, the rest of us are into cute girls, like you."
You huffed and put the bottle down, ready to leave. Jack grabbed your hand and stopped you, "I'm not hittin' on you to fuck you tonight, come on. You just—drink the water, rest some in my room and leave whenever."
Another laugh escaped your lips as you settled back against the desk, "I know guys like you, charming, funny, playing nice and all of that. Then, if I look around your room, I'd probably find a notebook with a list of all the girls you've fucked, rating them or something like that." You paused with a shake of your head, "I don't do that shit."
Jack was smiling from ear to ear, cocky, proud to have you think that of him, he was a lot of talk, he fucked for sure, but he had other things to do if he wanted to get out of college before his thirties. "You're free to look around if you'd like, I mean, it's nosy but I don't got anything to hide from a girl I could have a shot with."
"I've seen you around campus, you know." You changed topic, "Reckless, loud, extroverted and always up to no good."
"Yeah? You been watching me, then?"
A short silence.
He spoke once more, "I mean, I've been watchin' you personally. You're always with that frat rat, what's her name again?" You gave your friend's name with a laugh and he continued, "Yeah, that. But you're not like her." He commented, "Yet you're here tonight, what brought your pretty face here? I'm not complaining, fuck no I'm not complaining—but you do know whose room you're in, right?"
"Yours, you said it yourself. I'm here cause my 'frat rat' friend wanted to see her crush, then I lost her—I'm assuming she found him."
"Yeah? She didn't tell you about me?"
You smiled, "What, sad she doesn't gossip about Jack Abbot? You're not her type, she has very specific taste."
Finally sitting down on the edge of his bed, looking at you still with his arms behind him on the bed, Jack smiled, "I don't care 'bout her taste, I wanna know 'bout yours."
"Ever the smooth talker, huh? Can't I just stay here in peace and quiet?" You bemoaned, pulling the desk chair and sitting there, keeping a distance between the two of you.
His smile turned into a grin, "Tell you what, you answer this question and I'll let you stay in peace and quiet. I'll go back to the party, you get to keep my room for the entire night, good?"
His offer seemed suspicious but you did appreciate it, "Alright, yeah. Ask ahead."
"D'you find me hot?"
Your eyes widened, you choked on your saliva and laughed, "That's the question you chose?"
"Just answer it and I'm gone."
You shrugged, looking around, "I don't date frat boys, that's too much trouble." You paused, giving him a playfully eye roll, "It's a shame, because you are handsome–"
He got up to you and kissed your cheek so fast you barely had time to process, "Fuck yeah, that's what I like to hear. I'll go back out there, you can lock yourself in or not, your pick princess."
As he hurried out, you turned off the lights, moved to the couch and laid down with a burning sensation in your cheeks as you drifted it off to sleep.
When the party died down, Jack got back to his unlocked room and found you balled up on his couch, he laughed to himself and carried you to his poorly made bed before tucking you in. Absolutely wasted himself, he showered and put on some underwear before hopping on the couch and finishing his night there. He was already excited to see how you'd react in the morning when you'd find out you had fallen asleep in his bed.
Came morning, you woke up with a long groan and a strange feeling of being somewhere unfamiliar. Quick to sit up, the room around you was bright and most definitely not yours, the swear you let out woke up the man on the couch as he groaned and sat up, half-dressed, "The fuck's got you screaming this early pretty face?"
"Don't tell me we fucked—shit don't tell-"
"What? No? You were absolutely wasted last night, rumors say my dick game's great not that I'm a dick—I mean, I guess I am sometimes, but-"
You sighed in relief, "No you're not." another sigh, "No you're not a dick, you—I remember, you gave me some water, you were sweet, yeah. Thank you for that."
"It's whatever, boys are already talkin'." He said, laying back with an arm over his face.
You raised a brow, "About?"
"You really don't care about frat anything, do you?" He peeked from behind his arm.
A laugh came from you, "I really don't, it's most definitely not in my top three interests, not even top ten I'd say."
"D'you know they call me Jack Rabbit, well they also call me Jackoff but that's a dick move."
You stared at him, confused, "Great?"
"Oh my god, I have been looking for you everywhere!" You heard from the now wide open door as your friend entered and rushed to the bed. Her crush right behind her, smiling at Jack then you. As she hugged you, she whined, "I lost you to the man-whore of the fraternity, I'm sorry baby! Jake told me his boy had a girl in, you know? I just—the description, it had to be you, when he told me you were in the same bedroom as Jack Abbot?!" She gasped, throwing a dirty look at the poor man on the couch.
Your throat felt tight, "Well, he's sweet, what are you on about?"
Jake laughed, "Sweet?! He got girls in here almost every party we throw, he's got the fattest dick-"
At the same time, both Jack and you spoke, he groaned, "Alright man, don't tell her that, come on!"
"Jesus fucking Christ, I don't have to hear about that?!" You said nervously, noticing how Jack was covering his face with a pillow as he groaned. "Frankly, I don't give a shit either. I'll join you in a bit, okay?" You told your friend, who nodded a bit oddly before slowly, very slowly, seeing herself out of the room with her crush, who had most certainly been upgraded to the boyfriend title for now.
Looking over at Jack you held back a smile, "So you fuck, that's why you've been weird? What, you slept with a hard on the entire night or something?"
"It's just bullshit, I bring girls here when they're absolutely out of it—yeah I fuck, but probably half of the ones I bring here during one of those parties are just absolutely wasted. I don't fuck a girl if we're not both enjoying it." He shrugged, "Still, I'm cursed with having a great dick game and a big dick, what can I say?" He said lightly, making you laugh.
Getting up, you locked the door from inside and looked at him, "I'd offer you a date, to thank you for last night, but I don't mess with frat boys." You smiled, walking up to him.
His eyes never left yours as he smiled smugly, your body was acting much differently than your words were saying, "What are you studying, Jack?"
"Medicine." He grinned, already reaching out for your hands to guide you on top of him, "Gimme a few years and you'll call me Doctor Abbot when I'm fucking you, 'you patient enough to wait 'til then?"
You were surprised to hear what he was studying, enough for it to throw you off your limited game, "Wait are you serious?"
"I'm pretty confident you want to fuck me, so yeah-"
You pushed his face when he sat up saying so, "No, about medicine."
"Yeah, I'm gonna join the army, be a medic on the field and all that." He said casually.
Clearing your throat, you stepped back and sat on the edge of the bed, "I thought…"
"You assumed I was a dumb frat douche bag with limited IQ or somethin'?"
You pursed your lips, "Maybe in a way, yeah."
"Does it change anything now that you know I'm hot, smart and about to be rich?" He half-joked, getting up and walking up to you confidently.
You burst out laughing, leaning back to avoid being too close to him, "Frankly, I still hate the idea of going on date with a reckless frat boy like you. You stir shit around campus, and you're a troublemaker."
"For fun, my grades follow, ma'am. 's'that okay for you? I do good in school, ma'am." He pleaded mockingly, making you blush as he leaned in even more, his hands resting on either side of your hips, forcing you to lean further back. "Not to diagnose you or anything, but you got some heartbeat to you, pretty girl. I make your nervous or something?"
"You're arrogant." You breathed out, smiling timidly. You liked that.
He nodded, his face closer and closer to yours, "I am, especially when the girl's hard to get. I gotta play both parts, you know?"
A scoff, "My stellar reputation will go down the drain." You half-joked.
"So you care that much about what people think." A hand found itself on your jaw, his half-hooded eyes gazed down on you cockily, "I'm like a dog, you know?"
"Yeah?" You breathed out nervously.
"I bark, I'm loud, in fuckin' rut all of the time-" He joked, earning himself your hand on his mouth as you let yourself fall on the bed with a loud sigh, but Jack quickly caught himself as he rolled off you and layed down next to you, one elbow keeping him up, "Loyal, alright? I'll treat you so good sweetheart."
You shook your head, turning it to look at his wide grin, unable to hide your growing smile, "So you like scratches and you should get neutered?"
He burst out laughing, bringing you in for a tight hug as he helped you roll on top of him, "Let me treat you to a date, please? I'll be so fuckin' good, come on. I wanna get to know the pretty girl I helped at a party, 's that so bad?" Holding your face above his with both hands, he brushed his nose against yours, "Pretty please with a cherry on top."
Staring right at him, you stopped breathing the moment his face got close to yours, he was a bit of a jock, talkative, but he had done nothing wrong. Still holding your breath, you uttered, "Yeah, alright."
"Ok, now breathe or I'll probably won't have that date." He chuckled, pressing his lips to yours with a huge smile when he heard the huge sigh coming from you, "Not a doctor yet but it's breathe in, breathe out usually."
You got out of bed and let out another nervous breath, "One date, that's all you'll get."
Hurrying to his feet, Jack grabbed your hand and brought it to his lips, "First date for now, yeah I hear you."
"I said one date–"
He kissed your cheek, "For now, yeah, you can go and gossip with your girl friend now." Unlocking the door, he tilted his head to the side, never dropping the smug smile on his lips, "You didn't change dorm, right? Still sharing it with the frat rat?"
You nodded.
"Great, I'll come and get you…let's say, next Friday?"
You huffed, "Make it tomorrow, if you think you can not get wasted until then. Sunday is good for resting." You whispered, still holding his hand while standing by the unopened door.
He squeezed your fingers, "Shit, yeah I usually study on Sundays but…"
You rapidly suggested something else, thinking yourself too forthcoming, "Alright, Wednes-"
"Oh I'm not missing out, fuck no. Study date? At your dorm, don't wanna ruin your reputation too much, not yet." He winked.
Opening the door with a long nod, you pressed your lips to his cheek, "Study date. Studying is the key word, you're smart, get it in your head, okay?"
"Yes ma'am, anything for you ma'am." He smiled broadly, pushing the door to close it as he leaned in, "Do I get another kiss before you go?"
You opened the door wide, "No you do not, see you tomorrow, Doctor Abbot." You winked.
Walking out of his room, you were fighting a stupid grin, one your friend caught by matching it ten times, "Hello? What's going on with your face right now?"
You shrugged, "I got a date."
"Fuck yeah she does, with me!" He called out from his room, still barely dressed, smiling from ear to ear, "Let's fucking go!"
