The Tallest don't seem to follow any high moral code, they can execute you just because they don't like your looks! So yes, they totally would send children to war.
Plus, children are easier to manipulate and control.

Понятно, почему у Зима полностью отсутствует социализация и понятие о том, как работает мир: у него не было жизни за пределами военной академии. Он не знает значение слов "дружба", "привязанность", "любовь", потому что они не пригодятся на поле боя. Но при этом он прекрасно разбирается в разных видах иркенских технологий и весьма находчив, когда дело касается стратегий захвата планеты. В конце концов, это его единственная функция. Точнее, так должно было быть, но компьютер у него на спине поврежден. Оловянный солдатик дефектен, опасен и больше не может ничем послужить своей Империи.

I made a little analysis and observation, due to which I came across an interesting fact that Irkens do not use artificial intelligence as we humans do, they using Vortian brains in wide application in cyber technology
they using them not only for stock knowledge, Zim's base also controls with the brains, the origin of which is not stated, but it will be logical that it was also Vortian brains, bc they are the most versatile and convenient to use, like other parts of their organism (like Vort-dogs) I guess...
based on this, it can be suggested that the Vort's brain will resist control and application, so I think that Irkens install special programs and restrictions to control them.
besides, since the Irkens use the Vortian brains in almost all cyber technology, it means that Sirs are also controlled by their brain? yeah, that's quite logical, and I think that they use a younger brain, maybe even a child's brain, bc they don't need to think, they are created as an assistant to carry out the orders of their masters, as well as to analyze what is happening on an alien planet, atrophying their emotional part, as it was in the series with the changing Gir's settings...
still why Sirs also has a brains? I'm more than sure that they are also controlled by the brain, based on that episode where Gir temporarily replaced the brain of the Zim's base computer.
Also Gir is an old Sir's model, so we can't know how the true Gir's model behaves in general, but we can notice that he behaves like a real child, and also unlike new Sir's models he has a mouth and voice, which tells us that the previous model could hold a conversation with its owner until Irkens decided to remove this function, apparently due to old model's overload (remember that Gir switches off and even explodes from emotional and mental overload).
and where then brains puts in when we know that Gir's head is empty — it's their body, the size is also perfect for them also as a case after the head explodes or is removed, this does not pose a serious threat to the robot assistant's work.
about Zim's base Computer brain I can tell that Zim had two Computers in the project and first happily died in the first season of the show. this is already a theory, but I want to assume that even their behavior was different: The first ignored Gir as best he could, and was also surprised that he was able to cough or express any emotions. The second, after replacement of the previous one is more serious and even rude, he refuses Zim's petty requests, although for Gir he allows him to do whatever he wants as for a small child.

I am, to some extent, preoccupied with biology, and I have always been interested in the functioning of organisms, as well as in how hypothetical organisms might operate. We know that Irkens reproduce through laboratory means, and from what I have gathered, they officially lack reproductive organs. From a biological standpoint, this is inconsistent, as they still exhibit secondary sexual characteristics. If the reproductive organs had regressed over generations of laboratory propagation, the secondary sexual characteristics should have disappeared as well. Furthermore, if the reduction of genitalia implies the concurrent loss of sexual behavior and paired or group familial bonds, then the Irkens as a species would lose the natural motivators for developing their civilization and conquering new territories. The biological imperative of any species is the propagation of its genes and the increase of its population. Sex and familial bonds function as social adhesives, motivating individuals to protect their kin and strive for collective prosperity. If Irkens lack romantic or pair-bonding relationships, any aspiration they hold as a species becomes essentially purposeless; they would lack a natural motivator, and each representative of the species ought to be isolated, with no inherent concern for the ambitions of the Empire. To address this inconsistency, I propose the following hypothesis: sexual activity and romantic bonds have been preserved in this species despite laboratory-based reproduction, but they serve exclusively as a social adhesive. By engaging in copulation, Irkens reinforce their attachment to conspecifics and preserve the nesting instinct (i.e., the establishment of habitation and the exploration of new territories).
Now, regarding the configuration of their reproductive system. Observing the original Irken design, their physique consistently exhibits a triangular or trapezoidal silhouette, broadening toward the pelvis. A wide pelvis is typically an adaptation for parturition, leading to the inference that both males and females could potentially gestate and give birth. They are not mammals; therefore, mammary glands for lactation are unnecessary for either sex. How, then, do the two sexes differ? By gametic composition and hormonal profiles. The male body exhibits a predominantly testosterone-driven phenotype, which promotes the development of denser musculature and osseous tissue, thicker integument, and increased vocal fold thickness. The female body, characterized by an estrogen-dominated phenotype, is more gracile, with softer tissues, a slightly narrower thoracic cage, and thinner skin. This dimorphism also manifests in the antennae: male antennae are more rigid, thicker, and shorter; female antennae, conversely, are thinner, more pliable, and lighter, enabling them to grow longer and naturally coil at the distal ends. There is no sex-dependent variation in bone length, and neither sex is subject to such restrictions.
Turning now to the genital anatomy. Both males and females possess a vagina, a uterus, and a penis. In the male, the penis is located more anteriorly, with the vaginal orifice positioned beneath it. The male penis and vagina are shorter than those of the female, for the same reasons concerning the angle of intromission. The testes are distributed around the vulva, in the region corresponding to the labia majora in human females. They are not pendulous but closely apposed to the body wall. The overlying integument in this region is thin to facilitate a lower intratesticular temperature relative to the rest of the organism. Immediately posterior to the testes lies the phallus. In the flaccid state, it also retracts into a penile pouch; however, unlike in the female, this pouch is located anterior to the vaginal wall. Upon retraction, the penile shaft occludes the vaginal canal, while the glans remains externally covered. The male urethra passes through the penile shaft, as in human males.

The tallests are the type of the irkens to laugh during each others presentations i like to imagine that during their elite years they could NOT work together without laughing for no reason, like they where definitely one of those people who made a sorry half-hearted attempt at a presentation then have the gall to start laughing whilst presenting.
(They were probably banned from working together after the 50th time and it probably didnt work since i feel like they'd start laughing the moment they see each other trying to present 🥹💔)
It’s very hard to be an Invader Zim fan who ships ZaDr and loves Dad Nar headcanons, because we know that Jhonen Vasquez doesn’t agree with that line of thinking at all…which is fine, but if we were to somehow (hypothetically) get a 3rd season/revival of the show, then chances are, all our ships or headcanons would become outdated or invalid by “canon standards”.
