kotetsu has a candy stash at his apartment, naturally; it’s got boxes of pocky, taffy, hard candies, lollipops, pretty much anything you can think of that stores well. it’s an entire drawer that he told izumo was for his socks. there are no socks in it at all.

Sakura hates spicy food. She spent a good portion of her teenage years trying all sorts of spices to expand her taste, but could never make it work. Some of the spices she could stand to eat (without setting her mouth on fire) gave her awful heartburn, so she’s pretty much given up finding one she could eat. She’s learned to steer clear of them and find other ways to branch out with food.

     “c’mon, lets go out! get a few drinks!” kotetsu rolls his roommates shoulders, gentle a little though considering they’ve only just finished moving the rest of his things in. tired he may be, tonight calls for celebration.

     “i got into pastry school, nothing broke in the move, and we’re reunited!” he rounds the chair izumo sits in, dropping to a knee in front of him. the giant smile on his face falls to a pout, full-fledged and puppy-dog-esque. 

     “i need my wing man in the big city.”

         it’s been 84 years...

      casually puts hair up in a pony-tail while doing yard work.                     “izu? get me some water? m’dying out here.”

      kotetsu’s favorite thing is, in the morning, when they’re still trying to get up for the day, he has to literally peel izumo off of him he’s such a clinger. but for the first minute, before his partner is even really awake, izumo whines and holds tighter and for that minute kotetsu feels like the most important person in the world and they’ve been late a few times to their post because of shit like that.
