I do want to say. And I might say it. But a part of me feels bad people on the internet (which is mostly united states people) (be so real with me you know this) put stuff down on catholic church's account.

Do not get me in any way wrong, the catholic church has done immensely bad things, I know I come from a colonized country. I'm aware. I'm aware.

But like. This rapture situation is not a catholic thing. I come from a country in Latin America (most specifically, both latam and South America) (so I know my shit) and no one thats catholic ever said that to me or my friends or family relatives. That's all evangelical Protestant bs. Be so real with me its evangelical Protestant bs. Its crente stuff if we put names to names.

So it feels bad when people online say its catholic shit. Like we have weird funny stuff and we have horrendous crimes (quick tangent: im not actively catholic, but if youre from the southam latam, youre also not not catholic) but thats not on our bill.

One time a podcast called skyjacks said that united states catholicism even at its core is just Protestant beliefs and I truly go by that. I truly go by that because half of the so called "catholic" stuff i see touted round is just some weird Protestant evangelical stuff. Talk to me when you have fun and drama (and dont add on to the again, horrendous crimes). You would hurllllll if you saw latam catholicism. That's my peace ✌️ 😌
