BaconPOP

When I was in Virginia a few weeks back, I visited World Market for the first time. I thought it was an interesting store with a nice, unique variety of everything under the sun. Plus, I thought some their home furnishing were quite attractive.

While walking through the grocery section of the store, I was excited to find this microwave popcorn called J&D's BaconPOP.

Would this be any good, or just a novelty? I brought some home to find out.

After sampling some over the weekend, it's a novelty.

Sure, it did taste like bacon-flavored popcorn, but it wasn't a flavor that would keep me coming back. Even the smell wasn't that great.

This is something fun I might consider sitting out at a party along with a handful of other go-to snacks. I suspect my guests would be excited and curious to sample a bacon-flavored snack, but at the end of the night the bowl would still be left half full.

I might not be crazy about BaconPOP, but I am still interested in a handful of J&D's other bacon flavored products.
