Books, books and more books // Jinki & Tiffany
it was rather a slow day going in Jinki's little bookshop. Everyone seemed too in a hurry of passing by and going about their business nonsense that they didn't pay any mind to him or his lonely mood. "It's a real shame." he thought to himself, idly flipping open the hard, dusty cover of The Great Gatsby. It was a first edition, limited condition, everything original, a real prize to him. For a minute Jinki considered jumping, he was bored and nothing was more fun that a Gatsby party, Fitzgerald hadn't been lying about that. Ah, but he couldn't, on the off chance that a customer did actually venture in, which seemed highly unlikely.
He was dozing off at the front desk, head in his hands and eyes fluttering shut every few minutes. How bad would it be it he fell asleep, just took a little snooze, no one would steal, right? After deciding that it was in fact okay to take a little nap, using some teen novel as a pillow, the bells above the door, painted different shades, jingled to signal an actual, real life customer. An actual real life customer interrupting his nap to be.
