My City Hot by J-Rell ft Dirty Twon. s/o to my nigs Jonathan Tse for copping this , @leizaxazzy for converting it, and @mvrkitx for telling me to put this into an edit.
After dropping one of my favorite projects of last year and probably his best to date with Save.Our.Souls the homie and fellow Chicago native Add-2 kicks off 2013 right by putting out "the wack rapper eulogy" with his new lyrical heater, the appropriately titled The Eulogy, that with the epic soulful church sounding instrumental from fellow Chicago native J-Rell shows why Add continues to be one of my favorite emcees and is one of the illest lyricists in Hip-Hop. Way to many quotable's to put down one and with how hungry he sounds you would never even know or think he got such great co-signs as he has the past few years from the likes of Common and 9th Wonder to name a few. It's beyond me how he keeps on getting overlooked still by a lot of people despite this. Maybe that's why despite those co-signs and still having a good amount of supporters like myself he still works as if he has nothing and in a way is good cause it makes him continue to put out such great music as this.
