Been saving this one until I could actually put thoughts into words..

I think there's something so interesting about how Joel plays in this weird space where he plays up the "I'm so cool and better than everyone else and you are all stupid idiots and I'm not" as a joke, where the joke is that he actually thinks quite poorly of himself (similar to what Bdubs does, which is really fun to think about)

You can almost sort mcyt humilliating self depricating humor types in little sub categories: The "Over the Top Self Agrandizing" that Joel and Bdubs do, The "I'm A Punching Bag For My Friends" that Jimmy does, The "I'm A Fumbling Idiot I Don't Know How I've Got This Far Help Me" that Mumbo (and I would argue Xisuma too even tho it's been a hot second since I watched him consistently) does and so on. Of course these are all silly and I'm not trying to psycho-analyse my youtubers in any meaningful way, but still...

I think it's always so cute when people manage to poke at Joel in exactly the right tender spots for him to fumble and get all flustered and embarrassed under NO pressure, you can practically hear him get all squirmy as he talks.. some people are especially good at this (Lizzie, of course, and Gem, and some other hermits that he's not too close to, like xB and Cleo)

Anyway sorry about the ramble. What I'm trying to say is. Yes. We need more Joel humilliation kink stuff. He should be a flustered sweaty mess doing those pretty squeaks he does when he screams. I am willing to take on this burden- /silly
