"I'm okay, you're okay, we're okay."

Darkness, thunder, being alone. All things Sumin hated and feared. Jay had important business he needed to take care of and had assumed Sumin was fast asleep before leaving the house. Sumin was the kind of child to “go to bed” and sometimes not actually be able to fall asleep for hours and hours. She had yet to tell her father, not wanting to worry him when she knew had already lots of other things to worry about. About an hour after Jay had left, the weather took a turn for the worse and started pouring with roaring thunder to accompany it. Sumin didn’t know when her appa would be back so in the meantime she ran, plushie in hand, to his room before crawling under his covers to try and comfort herself. As the thunder seemed to get louder, so did her sobs and whimpering. Jay walked in the front door only to hear Sumin’s cries for him. He ran towards the cries before bringing his daughter into his embrace, trying to calm her down. He knew how terrified she was of thunder and instantly regretted leaving the house. “I’m okay, you’re okay, we’re okay.”  He said while bringing her head to his chest, letting the sound of his heartbeat calm her down. “I..I t-thought…I thought appa went bye bye..” Sumin managed to say in between her sniffles and hiccups before hugging Jay even tighter. He gently set her down back on the bed before changing and trying to help her fall asleep, softly singing to her in the process.

(` he flashes a grin ) I'm just going to stand here and look at your magnificent face. (` he chuckles ) But I'll also help you make money. Just tell me what to do.

-he cocks a brow at the cheesy words that come out your mouth, laughing lightly afterwards as he pats your shoulder; as if you shorty could do anything, I won’t ask you for that no. Just stand there, I’ll make you something. What would you like? Tea? Pancakes?
