Hug & Kiss Headcanons
If she were to kiss, it'd actually be a little unsure and lost
She doesn't really even fully understand the concept of romantic relationships
To recieve one, she's rather unresponsive
Confused, wondering why you did that
After explaining to her in vivid detail to sate her curiosity, she would soon grow into putting more emotion in
Her hugs a very much the same way
But once she realizes how nice they feel, she'd hug a lot more
And the more she does them, the warmer they get
"Like this?"
"Is this alright?"
Yes
Yes Io youre doing great sweetie
You can tell exactly how he feels by the way he kisses
He's great at hiding his emotions, but he cannot help but let them show through his actions
If he's content, they're soft and delicate
If he's happy, they have a bit more pep to them
If he's sad, they're slow and deep
Of course though he'd get embarrassed if you kiss him in front of the others
His hugs a very soft
He loves to gently cradle your body close to his
When he has intrusive thoughts that get him down, he adores being held
To curl into his partner's chest and have them thread their fingers though his hair
Oh this man knows how to kiss
No way a man as pretty as this has had no action
Much like Louis, it's easier to tell how he's feeling by the way he kisses
But unlike Louis, they're a bit more rough
There's no hesitation in his actions
If he expects a kiss to happen, it will
But don't mistake him
He still gives soft kisses
His hugs are softer than his kisses suprisingly
He prefers to be a shield for his partner, protecting them from the darkness in the world
Totally doesn't stroke his ego when his partner snuggles into his chest
A soft sigh escaped [Name]’s lips as she closed the door behind her, holding the towel tightly around her body as she made her way over to the hot spring. The warmth of the steam dancing in the air brushed against her exposed skin, making goosebumps run along her body.
Slowly, she lowered herself into the hot spring, feeling the hot water tingle against her skin lightly before fading. Her back rested against the side of the spring, supporting her as she leaned her head back a little. [Eye colour] orbs closed as she felt the thin tendrils of steam brush their fingers past her face; all the stress and worry of the day drifting away as nothing but a distant concern.
Her lips tugged into a relaxed smile. This was what she needed, a moment to herself alone. No Louis fussing over work. No Yakamo making silly jokes about random things. Not that [Name] disliked them, it was the opposite actually. Ever since she awoke, she felt lost. Her mind was nothing but a barren field where her memories should have been.
The faces of her family and friends she had before, nothing was left. Not even a glimpse of her mother’s hair or her father’s eyes. Did she have any siblings? Were any of her friends alive? Where did she grow up? She could walk past them and be none the wiser of them.
The only clue she had to her past -before Queen’s Operation- was Jack. When they encountered him in the cathedral, he looked at her as if he was seeing a ghost of someone important to him. She had tried to search the darkness of her mind for anything and found nothing. So, when he agreed to join their little group, [Name] almost begged him to tell her anything he could about her. Who she was as a person, her past, anything.
And the first thing he told her: “You and I were committed together, in a relationship.” To say she was shocked was a bit of an understatement. That one sentence had knocked her on her backside. There was no denying that Jack had a charm about him but she never would have believed they were a couple if she didn’t see the fondness in his eyes when he told her.
She was pulled from her thoughts by the sound of the door opening. She turned to see Jack approaching the hot spring, a towel around his lower half. His gaze fell on her and his visible eye widened slightly.
“Oh, I didn’t realise you were here.” he spoke loud enough for her to hear him, “I can come back later if you want.” [Name] shook her head at that. In truth, she could use some company.
“It’s alright, Jack. This is a public place, after all.” He nodded at her words and continued to approach. It wasn’t often that Jack would use the hot spring when others are there, usually waiting until everyone was either out or asleep before relaxing in the waters. However, [Name] was an exception to him.
He took a seat in the hot spring, keeping a respectable distance between her and him. Ever since he told her of their past relationship, he has felt an... awkwardness between them of sorts. He has wanted nothing more than to hold her close, like he used to whenever they finished a mission, and now he had to restrain himself.
[Name] did not remember him the way he remembered her. Where his vision is clear, hers if blinded by a fog; and he wanted to help guide her through the fog and into the light. Yet, [Name] was lost and he couldn’t reach for her.
Jack lowered his head at the thoughts, thin threads of sorrow tugging at his chest. If only they had been more careful when defeating the Queen then maybe [Name] would never have started to frenzy and...
His thoughts were cut off by the sound of water moving, he looked to see [Name] sitting closer to him, a light smile on her lips. That same smile that he would fight hordes of Lost to see again, the ambition to see her happy pushing him to walk away from each and every battle alive.
“Jack,” she said, her voice soft as she spoke. “I may not remember what we had before. But I want to, I really do.” she lowered her head slightly before looking back up at him, their eyes locking. “Can... Could you show me, please?”
Even after all they have been through, she still wished to be by his side? Jack couldn’t recall the last time he felt joy sweep through his body the way it did at that moment. His lips lifting into a soft smile, the smile he only ever let her see.
“Of course.” he whispered. His hand gently cupping her cheek as he leaned in, pressing his lips against her softly. He gave her a moment to adjust, seeing if she was comfortable with this or not and always giving her the chance to pull away if she wished. He was not going to force anything upon her if she didn’t want it, he was not that kind of person.
She didn’t pull away. In fact, she deepened the kiss, her arms wrapping around his neck, feeling the affection that flowed through the kiss swarm her body, swirling around her heart and encasing it in a loving hold. For a second, she and he were not sitting in the hot spring, they were laying together in a bed; his arms holding her with such care as if she would be snatched away from him if he didn’t hold her.
For the first time ever since awakening with the barren field of emptiness where her memories should have been, [Name] felt like she belonged there. The feeling of being in Jack’s arms felt right, like when you connected two puzzle pieces together and they fit perfectly. Made for each other. That was the only way she could describe it.
And for Jack, having [Name] in his arms again, feeling her lips against his, it was truly worth all the pain, blood and tears spilt.
I would absolutely adore it if I could get some headcanons for Louis, Yakumo, and Jack with s/o who likes giving them some headpats/rubs? I’m in the mood for some soft stuff rn

S/O Who Enjoys Giving Headpats
He'd be a little put off at first for sure
But once you start threading your fingers throigh his hair, massaging his scalp, even playing with hair
He's immediately fond of it
Would be a little too awkward and embarassed to ask for it though
But you've gotten better at detecting his subtle hints and now it's become a favourite past time of yours to mess with his head while he does his research
Yakumo:
Oho man!
Would immediately verbally and physically say how much he likes it
"Hey, that's pretty cute! Keep going!"
An absolute chad
Would not hesitate to ask for some too
When he gets back from an outing, you can expect him to plop his head right into your lap
With a dumb grin
Jack:
Probably the most offputting of the three
He's not a touchy feely man
As well as a war dog
He's not that affectionate, giving and recieving
But after a long days hard work
Beaten and bloodied
Worked to the bone
He's not one to complain should you pet his head in the comforts of your room
Please cradle his skull in your arms and whisper how proud you are of him
Woah i'm so glad you write for code vein!! If it's not too much trouble, could you write headcanons for how jack would act/apologize to the protag (who he has a long-time crush on!) for turning them to ash during operation queenslayer 🤪

Jack x Reader: Apologies
"If you cry, you aren't a man" kind of guy
When you first meet again, he's very cold
Denying that you're truly back and not dust floating in the wind
Whenever you saw each other, he'd do everything he could to either leave or ignore you politely
Eventually when he and Eva are welcomed back at base, he relaxed a little, didn't leave every time you entered the room
His companion could read him like a book and had a very heartfelt talk with him late one night in his room
Why he was so upset, why he couldn't stand seeing you, why he felt absolutely guilty for your newfound duty as a successor, he spilled it all to her
And she listened
And she advised him to confess at least how sorry he was to you
It's not good chemistry to have two soldiers in the field who can't cooperate properly
It'll only end badly
So he did
After his talk, he didn't wait
He got right up, went to your room, and knocked on your door
He didn't wait for a response, nor did he care if you were perhaps sleeping, he needed to do it now before he lost confidence
Luckily you were at your desk, reading a book Louis had gifted you
He stood there frozen for a few moments, racking his brain for the conversation starter, sweating under your curious gaze
Eventually he sighed and just started from the beginning, slowly choosing his words carefully, gauging your expressions
After he finished, he couldn't bring himself to look you in the eye and instead the floor seemed incredibly interesting
He cringed as he heard your chair creak as you stood up and made your way closer to him
"Jack."
He looked up
"It's okay."
Okay? It was okay he killed you? Okay that he turned you to ash? Okay that he spilled your blood without hesitation??
You continued to explain how you understood why he did what he did
How he didn't want you to turn to the Lost
He didn't want you to suffer by constantly coming back in an awful fashion, never being laid to rest
And you explained how you'd love it if he did it again should you ever frenzy
He didn't confess his deep affection for you, but at least he doesn't have to worry about having killed you anymore
hi, i’m in lit history class rn, anyways. i’m going feral over your code vein jack hc’s abt his kissing.
that part.. where it says.. ‘if he expects a kiss to happen, it will.’ can i have a fic, head cannon, literally anything of Jack doing just that?
Like reader/mc that is v shy romantically, they have a moment and he just like,, grabs them by their chin/maybe a hand behind their head & kisses them before reader/mc can shy out of it.

Jack x Reader: Smonch
Atmosphere? Check
Alone? Check
Feeling light? Check
Tone? Check
It was the perfect scene. It was later in the evening, mostly everyone had gone to bed, the area was candlelit, and you two were reminiscing over past experiences together
"Truth be told, I really appreciate you killing me back during Queenslayer."
"Well, I didn't want you to suffer through the rejection. In the most positive way possible; I'll kill you again."
You only laughed at the confession, silently treasuring the fact that Jack would make sure you never turned into a Lost.
He only turned to you, a slight smile on his lips, his eyes softening.
"Y'know... I'm really glad you came back. It's too different without you."
Your laughs stopped abruptly, only looking at him in shock, crimson quickly spreading across your cheeks.
A moment passed of you both just gazing in each others eyes, losing track of time and unconsciously leaning in
You only snapped back into reality when your noses touched
You quickly leaned back and looked away but it didnt last as Jack's hand snaked around the back of your neck and pulled you back in, not letting you get away this time
We're not gonna point out the title, i didnt know what else to call this
This is just a tester to see if I can write Jack Rutherford’s character from Code Vein (Amazing game). I’m not sure if I will continue writing for him but it all depends.
Feedback is appreciated please. Please enjoy.
The Hunter. A person or animal that hunts. A killer that seeks out its prey and slaughters it without mercy. That was what Jack was known as. A shadow that many revenants feared to cross. And truthfully, he did not care. Why should he care what revenants think of him?
Shadows shrouded him as he watched a handful of Lost wander aimlessly for food, some fighting over some scrapes of a corpse that was more bone than flesh. This was what became of the once thriving city, nothing but a skeleton of what it was once. Disappointment tugged at him. As Jack turned away to leave, he heard something. A scream. His head turned towards the direction of the sound to see a small child sprinting with all their might as a handful of Lost chased after them.
His grip of his sword tightened, normally Jack would turn away from this as he had Eva to take care of but something clawed at him to save this child. Using the roofs as an advantage point, Jack followed after them, a shadow gliding among the darkness.
The small girl had reached a dead end within the park, the collapsed ledge falling down into an abyss that no one has escaped; once fallen they are never seen again. She turned away from the drop to see the Lost surrounding her, fear radiated off of her the way hunger radiated from the Lost that cornered her. Tears welled in her eyes, she was trapped.
Just as Jack was about to leap from the shadows and attack, another figure beat him to it, seeming to materialise from the air with her weapon drawn to strike. The first Lost crumbled to ash, followed by a second one before the remaining could register what happened. This second figure -a [Hair colour] female- was fluent with her movements, almost bouncing one her feet to avoid the Lost’s attacks now that they have recovered from the little shock.
Determination was burned into her face, even from his distance and through her filter mask, Jack could see it clear as day. However, despite her fluent movements and powerful strikes, she was still outnumbered. A shift of movement caught Jack’s attention, he turned to see the child watching the [Hair colour] woman fight, oblivious to the two Lost crawling from the cliff’s edge behind her.
His sword drawn, Jack emerged from the shadows and brought his blade down on the Lost’s head, kicking its corpse off the ledge before decapitating the second one. The small girl, who also had [Hair colour] hair, looked up at him with admiration swirling around in her eyes. Jack didn’t stay to examine the girl as the older [Hair colour] one was knocked to the ground, her weapon kicked away from her as a Lost pinned her down, attempting to rip at her throat.
In a swift movement, Jack’s blade sliced through the Lost’s neck, removing its head and forcing its body off of her. The remaining Lost were already nothing but dust. This woman was stronger than she appeared but she was outnumbered. She would have died if not for him. Her and the small girl.
Before either of them could react, one final Lost leaped from ledge, its claws aiming for Jack’s head, ready to rip it from his shoulders when a yell was heard. [Name]’s weapon came swinging down onto the Lost’s head before Jack could slice his blade, shattering its skull against the ground and crumbling to dust. Beside where the Lost once was, was the small girl clutching onto the weapon the older woman was using.
Jack was surprised. This young child, not even a teen, saw the danger before he did and terminated it, saving his life.
Her [Eye colour] eyes locked onto his exposed eye, the determination that fuelled her fight remained present though it was calm, like a wildfire being tamed and controlled into a soft, gentle candle. No rage, no anger, just a soft warmth of light to comfort one. She tore her gaze away from him when the small girl spoke.
“[Name]!” the small girl lept into the older girl’s -[Name]’s- arms, wrapping them around her tightly as if the Lost would return and snatched her away from her. [Name] held onto the child with just as much love, a protective hold. At this little display, it was safe to assume they were sisters, that and their resemblance.
“Amelia, I’m so glad you’re okay.” [Name] said, her hold tightening on the young girl but not enough to harm her. “I thought I lost you for a moment.” Amelia pulled away enough to look at her older sister.
“You nearly did, but then he saved me.” she rose her hand and pointed at Jack. [Name]’s gaze returned to him, taking in his appearance properly before her [Eye colour] orbs widened. Suddenly, she pulled her sister behind her, shielding her from him.
“H-Hunter.” She lowered her head to him, bowing in an apologetic manner as if she had committed a great crime and wished for forgiveness. “Please, d-don’t hurt my sister. We didn’t mean to trouble you.” As she spoke, Jack tilted his head slightly. She has heard the tales of him, how he killed friend or foe without mercy. Amelia’s eyes glanced between her sister and him, seeming to struggle to understand her sister’s fear but not questioning it.
Slowly, [Name] reached into a small pouch on her side, pulling out a Blood Bead and holding it out for him. This action surprised him somewhat. She was willing to sacrifice a Blood Bead in hopes that he would not harm them?
His hand rested on the Blood Bead and pushed it back towards her, earning a confused yet shocked look from her. “Keep it. You will need it more than I do.” he said to her. His gaze fell to Amelia who looked up at him with an innocent look he has not seen in this place for a long time. It... reminded him of Eva, in a way.
“You just saved my life, Amelia.” He rose his hand and patted her [Hair colour] locks a little, making the little girl smile. He turned to [Name], picking her weapon up and handing it to her. She reached out and grabbed the handle but he didn’t release his grip.
“Be careful out here. A place like this is nowhere for a young child.” she looked down slightly and he released his hold on her weapon.
“I know. We were looking for a safe place to rest when the Lost attacked. I tried to protect Amelia but there were so many, so I told her to run.” Jack noticed how the small girl hugged her sister from the side. She fought to protect her little sister, willing to risk life and limb to keep her safe. Something he understood all too well.
“There’s a place you can go. They’ll take you in without question.” he told her. He rose his hand and pointed towards the church where Louis and his friends had taken refuge. “There’s a church a few miles that way. Ask for Louis and tell him I sent you. He will take you in.” [Name] looked in the direction he pointed, a chance for a security for her little sister. No more running around for a safe place.
She turned to him, “Thank you so, so much Hunter.” his lips twitched under his mask at this. A warmth brushed at his skin at that look in her [Eye colour] eyes.
“My name is Jack Rutherford.” he told her before disappearing in a small mist of red.
